"The Bones of the Homeless"

I was volunteering for the San Francisco School District bringing in Artists and Musicians to schools in gang run neighborhoods. Offering children exposure to Art and Music instead of only gangs offering guns and drugs was my dream.

While going to the different schools, I saw so many homeless people, I bought a camera to take photographs of them.

One day as I was sitting in front of a store, a homeless man across from me had tears in his eyes. It so overwhelmed me, I left my camera on the bench and never
bought another.

At the time, I had no idea my first book would be about the homeless.
