I cannot imagine
walking by
and ignoring
a person in need
or ever accepting
a human being
eating out of
a trash can

I cannot imagine
not striving to
help create noble leaders
for our children
to learn from

I cannot imagine
calling people
cruel names

I cannot imagine
not helping
each another
in any and every way
we can

We are one
you and i
us and them

And youth our
future leaders
look to us
as role models
to provide
beauty love
hope and
respect for
each other

So they can
learn how
to grow up
in a world
without wars
and hate
growing up instead
in a world
filled with love

Together joining
hearts arms and minds
we can live free
from violence
suffering and
needless pain
by offering
one another
unconditional love
and understanding we are
spiritually connected
through eternity
