I won "Brava for Women in the Arts" contest with my opera libretto on the life of Painter Frida Kahlo and her Muralist husband; Diego Rivera. I secured an Opera Composer to put Music to My Libretto.

The final scene of our opera shows Diego Rivera on a ladder painting a mural with Frida on the ground looking up at him
while singing that his art would only live on because of her own paintings

After forty operations, Frida Kahlo
lost her leg and gave up on ever winning her Muralist husband; Diego Rivera, away from his many girlfriends. Her soul focus was Diego and not her art.

Frida experienced polio as a child and later in her life after a bus accient forced a metal rod through her entire body; she said she never needed to read another book. Frida explained her intense suffering taught her more about the realities of life then any book ever could.

Frida Kahlo is now the Most Well Known Female Painter on Earth!
