A blind man and his seeing eye dog are grocery shopping. Suddenly in the middle of an aisle, the man picks up his dog by the tail and starts swinging it around.

A startled clerk asks the man Can I help you, sir?

The blind man replies quickly without thought, No thanks. Just looking.

The tragedy of life is not that it ends too soon, but that we wait so long to begin it. Isn't that so true in many cases? If I only had more time! If this or that was true ! If I had but one more chance!

There is no such thing as no chance! Each day we have a chance to make a choice to just do it. It is so true that a journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step; the choice to do.

I hear so often from my friends that if they just understood something a little bit more they could do it, but yet, they fear taking that first step in understanding a little bit more. That first step to understanding more is in part: two things. The first is believing that life is a parade of lessons which must be articipated in to be understood and secondly, it is our attitude at the beginning of how we will venture toward understanding, which more than anything else determines it's treasure.

Instead of embracing things as unknowns, embrace them with the excitement of youthfulness of adventure. Then we allow ourselves to live the attitude that discovering the unknowns is the treasure life has to offer. The treasure of life will never be found in if but in the do.

Are we afraid of making poor choices because we don't have a total understanding?

There is one statement that follow and serves you well and that is I understand that I do not understand and that my friend, is excitement because it gives me another adventure to embrace. We will never fully understand something because we are learning each day and with increased knowledge everything changes. You will never finish your education because living is an ongoing education of doing.

It does not matter if you are right, wrong or indifferent. Just do something that leads you to your dreams. The greatest discovery is when we accept that as human beings we can alter our lives by altering our attitude.

If you don't start today, where you are at this moment, where and when will you start? No better place to start than where you are right now.

Take the first step each morning to pursue that to which you dream. Stop, close your eyes, see what you want, believe what you want, and most certainly you will then achieve what you want.
