My brother in laws death, and the childhood sweetheart who, as a grown woman was there at an extreme ebb tide

I was in cruise control. Nothing could possibly go wrong. Then the bottom fell out. My brother in law Edward whom I had grown to love dearly, lay dead. It was the manner in which he died, and that I don't now or ever wish to discuss. I had suddenly reached an extreme ebb tide, personally and literarily. And as God in Heaven had it, a dear childhood  sweetheart I had known all my 49 years at that time was there for me at a time of extreme depression, I have not forgotten this. For 3 years I was in a dry spell as a writer. I hope I am back somewhat now as a writer. Thank you Debra. Your name is that of a great woman, a judge of Israel.
