Israel is the name of a man. Judea Samaria, Galilee are the names of regions. Christ was Galillean.

The regional and national name is.....PALESTINE. Israel is a mans name, the father of the 12 tribes, Judah, Benjamin, Simeon, Asher, Gad, Joseph , Dan, Ephriam , Reuben, Issachar, Levi, Naphtali.
Judah and Benjamin of the south. The other 10 of what would become Samaria of the north.
These along with Peter Andrew James Philip Thomas Matthew bartholomew simon Thaddeus Matthias who replaced iscariot James and John being the 24 elders of Palestine.
Unto Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and Palestine take the word of God. Palestine being the coasts of Rome as was known in Christ day, thus the geographic metaphor.

The word is PALESTINE not Israel....
