And in time in 2013, I came to an epiphany about the passion of the Christ, yes it is a snuff film, I knew that, and a money maker for Gibson. But it was not based on the bible. It was based on a book written by a German nun 200 years earlier. Martin Scorsese came out and admitted the last temptation of Christ was based on a book based on a novel written by an ex communicated Greek orthodox er, to quote Paul sorvino.
