How Do We Wait In Weight Loss?
How Do We Wait In Weight Loss? (by Susan James)
Losing Weight is one of those life things that seem to take a bit of time. Most things that we want, but don't have yet, usually take a bit of time to show up. But for a myriad of reasons, we tend to look at weight loss a bit differently than other intentions that we want to manifest.
Weight loss is an intention with a built in measurement tool. We can see the results in what we are doing, either on the scales and or in our clothing size.
And technically, weight loss was easier for me, than some of the other things I chose to manifest. Why? Well......I could see my success as I moved along. Sometimes in our other intentions, we don't *see* anything that would indicate its coming.
When we don't see our manifesting on our way to us, some of us blow ourselves up energetically and don't have what we want manifest, or at least in a way we would prefer.
It's that waiting that can kill us and the manifestation. The waiting stage....is in the area between the known and the unknown.
We know what we weigh....we experienced that already. What we want is to have the new experience of weighing something more desirable for us.
It's the waiting for our body to lose weight that gets some of us all tied up in knots. Many of us cant seem to make it all the way through the waiting stage. Therefore, we don't have the bodies we want.
Im often asked how I did it. And I have to tell you, if I knew then what I know now, I would have done it differently. My way worked of course, but It could have been easier than it was. I didn't know all that I know about light energy and how to affect it, in regards to our lives, I know that now.
The way I first did it, is the way I wrote of in the book. I took good care of myself during the waiting phase.
The largest point behind 17 seconds to wt.loss, is being willing to spend a few minutes everyday, thinking about what we want in regard to body image. I did that. I still do that.
I never gained my weight back, because I still do that. Only now... its all automatic. And just like in the book, I never go more than 2 days in a row, where I eat off. I automatically stop myself. Its become automatic, because I was willing to spend a few moments every day musing over what I wanted my body image to be. AND if I got frustrated over it, which does happen as we attempt weight loss, I went about fixing it so that I moved out of that frustration as quickly as I could.
Readers of my newsletter, who haven't yet read the book want to know what I ate, and which plan I followed. My answer is always the same. The plan never mattered. It's the fact that I knew I was doing something each day, towards having my body image intention met.
Some days it would be calorie counting, some days it would be all protein, some days, this and that. The point is, my mind knew I was minimally doing something every day towards losing the weight.
I had charts out the ying-yang....that I could mark off each day. I still have those charts for other things. I looked at pictures of what I wanted to look like and the foods that I wanted to enjoy on a regular basis, after I lost weight.
I took a minimum of 15 minutes each day, to ponder on what I wanted....and then I paid attention to what showed up each and every day. THIS is another place some of us mess up. We write and affirm and this and that.....and it starts to flow to us....but...we don't say yes to what shows up, and we hit those brick walls, one more time, over and over again.
Anyone reading this particular article has some level of insight into knowing that this weight loss thing is about more than just a new body image. For All of us, including me, it was a step into under- standing the higher aspects of ourselves and how to begin using that aspect to assist us in our lives.
When we try to shut that down.....we usually stop ourselves from both physical and non-physical expansion until we get moving again.
What we want in our weight loss intentions, is to stop all of the starting and stopping We want this weight OFF. We want our momentum to continue.
If this is you......then all you have to do.....is to make sure you do these 4 things as it carries us through the *waiting stage* of weight loss:
1. Spend 15 mins each day pondering your new body image. 2. Write it Down and read it out loud. (But know WHAT2write!) 3. Pay Attention to what shows up, because things will show up to help you. 4. Say YES to what shows up.
It all begins with those 15 minutes. Some of us wont do it.
The thing that MADE me do it, was....something I read, elsewhere. If I wasn't willing to spend 15 mins each day on something that I really wanted for my life, out of all the other things I spend my day on, then I didn't want it badly enuf.
I WANTED IT.
Do you?
