Many more verses of Revelation 12, beside the ‘Great Sign’ connect to events in 2005. Even the last verse of chapter 11 is involved. (Chapter divisions were a later addition to the Bible.)

“Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant could be seen in the temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder, an earthquake, and a violent hailstorm.”

The above photo is of the impact of NASA Deep Impact mission’s 500 pound projectile striking Comet Tempel on July 4, 2005. This impact took place in the sky near the star named Spica. Spica is the brightest star of the constellation Virgo and represents her hand, which holds grain.

“A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.”

All of the planets travel through the constellation Virgo often. Not so often, there is a solar eclipse. On October 3, 2005 there was an annular type, which means the moon is fully on top, but not large enough to totally cover the sun. Thus the woman can still be dressed in the sun. (You can read about the ‘crown of twelve stars’ in the article titled God’s Alarm Clock is Going Off.)

“She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth.”

Also, not so often are Jupiter and Mercury in her belly. On October 3, 2005, they were. Spica, her lowered hand was nearby forming a triad.

Mercury represents messenger, prophet, truth
Jupiter represents god, king, the way
Spica represents bread, priest (sacrifice of bread), life
Thus the baby in the belly is:
God, messenger, and bread
Priest, prophet, and king
The truth, the way, and the life.

October 5, 2005, the moon is located at Virgo’s feet. But so was comet Tempel and the Deep Impact spacecraft. Another triad:
Moon represents lunacy
Comet anciently represents evil portent
Spacecraft violence represents man’s tendency towards evil

If one follows the path of the eclipse, it is seen to start at the northwest of Spain near Santiago De Compostella. (Considered the most holy site outside of Rome or the Middle East). (The church there has the vases from the water/wine miracle done at the request of Virgin Mary.). (It is also the general vicinity of where Mary appeared a top a pillar to St James in 40AD, at which time she was still living.). The eclipse path then continues southeast and splits between Fatima and Garabandal. (Research those Virgin Mary apparition sites.). It proceeds across the North African desert, where the Holy Family fled to. It ends over the Indian Ocean.

“The serpent, however, spewed a torrent of water out of its mouth after the woman to sweep her away with the current.”

December 26, 2004, 250,000 people are killed when a tsunami slams across the Indian Ocean. August 29, 2005, 1,800 people are killed in New Orleans in hurricane Katrina’s flood.

“Then the dragon became angry with the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring, those who kept God’s commandments, and bear witness to Jesus.”

December 26 is the feast day of St Stephen, the first martyr after Christ’s ascension.
August 29 is the memorial day of John the Baptist, who was the last martyr before Christ.

At sunset October 3, 2005, as the eclipse ended, Rosh Hashahna began. The Jewish New Year represents both the creation of Adam and Eve, and God’s return for judgement and Kingship.

Also, at about sunset October 3, 2005, Manuela Strack was receiving her final message from the Virgin Mary and her appearance was similar to the Great Sign motif. It also included a vision of St. Benedict, which was the name taken by the just recently (2005) ascended Pope Benedict the Sixteenth. Not coincidentally, the Pope at the time of the Fatima apparitions was Benedict the Fifteenth.

LADY AND THE COMET
Information on Manuela Strack and amazing interconnected nature to this article came to light shortly after posting the original article

Manuela Strack
The name means “strick (righteous) God among us”, which isn’t too hard to relate to the Book of Joel’s ‘teacher of justice’ in chapter 2, verse 23. (See article titled What Is the Second Most Apocalyptic Book of the Bible).

March 7, 2005 Apparition
‘Star’ that was seen in other apparitions is now strangely octagon shaped, is 60 centimeters, and makes a buzzing sound. Exacting size, making noise, and not a shape found in nature would tend to indicate something mechanical (man made). The Deep Impact craft is dominated by its solar array, which is octagonal in shape, and exactly 5 times larger than 60 centimeters. It had been launched two months earlier.
Angel Gabriel is featured. He typically makes God’s announcements, such as the Annunciation. It would be logical to use him for the announcement of the Great Sign of Rev 12
He appears by coming out of a bright light from the bottom and just to the side of the octagonal ‘star’. Compare that description to the photo at the beginning of this article.

July 4, 2005 Apparition
Manuela is given a private message at the beginning of this apparition. Two hours later, the Deep Impact projectile strikes comet Tempel.

October 3, 2005 Apparition
Manuela received her last Virgin Mary appearance. She is wearing a crown, just as with the Fatima apparitions, and just as with the Great Sign, happening AT THAT MOMENT.

Manuela gave Pope JPII three ‘keys’ to the future of the church and the world on February 11, 2004. She greets Cardinal Ratzinger as a pope, and he winds up taking the same name of the Pope reigning during Fatima
One can make some logical assumptions about the ‘keys’
1. They have to do with Fatima fulfillment of the coming Chastisement.
2. They have to do with the Great Sign precisely because they could have been verified by the Pope astronomically.
3. They have to do with the future of the papacy.

Therefore, one can guess that JPII would know he had 14 months to live. We must look with fresh eyes at what he did during that remaining time. Here is an example.

October 3, 2004
Exactly one year before the Great Sign, and exactly 29 years before the Chastisement.
Anne Catherine Emmerich is beatified by JPII. She is also a simple German woman, just as Manuela Strack is. Next year is the 200th anniversary of her 1823 Passion of Christ Lenten meditations. Also in 2004, the movie Passion of the Christ was released and utilized Emmerich’s visions to ‘fill in the blanks’ of the passion of Jesus.

Update June 13, 2022 on research of Manuela “Keys”
(The day this was added, June 13, 2022, Manuela had another vision, COINCIDENCE? I think not!)

Again, Manuela provided the keys to the Pope on February 11, 2004. She greeted Cardinal Ratzinger as one would a Pope.
1. He would not only become Pope, but would resign nine years later to the DAY.
2. February 11 is the feast day of Lourdes.
2. Pope JPII’s planned trip to Lourdes would be postponed until August 15, 1982, because of his assassination attempt on May 13, 1981 (Fatima day).
3. He would go to Lourdes again on August 15, 2004. It would be his LAST foreign trip.
4. Why would he not go to Lourdes on a Lourdes anniversary? Why would he always go on the feast of the Assumption? What is the reading for the feast of the Assumption? It is Rev 12,1, the Great Sign!
5. We know why Fatima is involved, but why Lourdes? I suspect because a healing spring was the focal point of the apparition, and thus the symbology of water. (See article titled God’s Alarm Clock is Going Off, and There’s No Snooze Button.). More to come, I am sure!

Deep Impact factoids
1. Had it not been for comet Boerthin (discovered by a priest) disintegrating, Deep Impact would have left the constellation Virgo before the Great Sign. By the time an alternate second mission could be programmed into the craft, the Great Sign was finished.
2. It was the first time humans changed the configuration of the layout of the universe by moving comet Tempel’s orbit 4 inches.
3. Deep Impact is credited with single handedly convincing the Chinese to go full bore exploring space.

Nostradamus Quatrain Century 10, number 72

July 1999.
From the sky come will come the great king of terror.
The king of the Mongols shall be revived.
Before and after, Mars to reign by good luck.

The number of quatrains with an exact date can be counted on a couple of fingers. This one was long anticipated and considered a failure when nothing seemed to happen.
How about if I told you that the public announcement of the Deep Impact mission was made in July 1999?
What if Deep Impact and the Great Sign herald the coming Chastisement?
The last several decades have seen an inordinate number of close approaches of Mars. Plus Mars is the god of war.
If a worldwide catastrophe occurs, such as the Chastisement, which society could recover the quickest?

NOW YOU’RE GETTING PERSONAL

In 2003 I became Catholic.
In April 2005 I attended a Cursillo Movement weekend the week after JPII’s death. (BTW, the original Cursillo movement started in Spain, with its routine pilgrimage to Santiago De Compostella.)
I then started attending daily Mass frequently.
One day, I drove to my job in surgery at the hospital.
The case was going to be delayed several hours. I decided I would drive back across town in morning traffic in order to go to mass and then return. Why I did this I will never know. In fact, it was a highly dangerous plan because my job is to run the heart lung machine. More than once I have seen it where the case would be delayed, only to have the patient roll through the door the next minute. On any other day, I would never have entertained that thought. But that day was apparently different. At mass I received a communion wafer that rapidly was becoming ‘microwave’ hot. I quickly decided that the only option was to chew fast. I then sat in stunned silence. I had to recover my wits, drive back and perform my case. It went perfect, which actually is somewhat of a rarity.

It would take a couple of days to get over the shock enough to contemplate the ‘why’. I went over the readings for that mass
1. Moses and the burning bush
2. The disciples return to Jesus after having performed miracles and are excited. Then Jesus says:
“All praise to you heavenly father, for you have kept these things from the wise and learned, and reveled them to the child like. Yes, such is your gracious will. All things have been given over by the father to the son. Only the son knows the father and only the father knows the son and anyone He wishes to reveal himself to.” (Mt 11, 25-27)

A few more days go by and I ask myself, why that day? I then realize it was the 13th of the month (July) and thus could relate to a Fatima apparition. July 13, 1917 was the day the visionaries were shown hell and given the three secrets. In fact, considering the Portugal/ US time difference, it was 88 years to the minute that it happened.
Just recently I have discovered the 450 year old publication called the Roman Martyrology. It lists all the official church saint feast days. Guess who is July 13? The Old Testament prophet named Joel. (See story about the Book of Joel, once again)
This happened 9 days after Deep Impact struck comet Tempel. That’s one Novena. BTW, 9 days after I was born is the only instance in modern recorded history of someone getting struck by a meteorite. Note the historical ‘mirror’ image of meteor hits man, then man hits meteor.
In late September 2005, a couple weeks before the Great Sign, I had something miraculous happen again during adoration. (Update: I’m now fairly certain this happened 9 days before the Great Sign, in same timing fashion as the Eucharistic miracle, and my DOB. See blog titled Proof That God Has a Sense of Humor)

In 2008 I was invited to go to Medjugorje. I remember sitting in the airport to leave and watching the economy collapse in real time. We stayed in a place behind the visionary Mariana’s house. I walked out the next morning to go to breakfast. I walked around the building and bumped into someone I didn’t know, who asked if I had seen Mariana up on her porch? I said no. We went back around and she was gone. The next day we were told she would not be speaking to the group, as was the usual routine. No explanation was given..
A few days go by and its time for the group picture with Mariana. I got there late, just in time to get at the left end of the photo. I looked right as she looked left from the center of the group.
I mention all this, because I have learned that the Medjugorje visionaries have been instructed by the Holy Mother not to meet with other people who have ‘pieces of the puzzle’ so there will be no ‘cross pollination’ of any prophecies

The information in this article did not fall from the sky. It came together a piece at a time over decades. More pieces are still getting added. I believe there is more to come…..
