That other Irish saint, named Malachy was an 11th century bishop who reputedly composed 2-4 Latin words describing 111 Popes. Then he composed a paragraph about the ‘end of time’ Pope.

Pope number 111 was Pope Benedict XVI (See article titled Pope Prophecies Converge 2038). The ‘end of time’ Pope does not appear to relate to Pope Francis (Nor now Pope Leo XIV). Even skeptics agree that the EOT Pope could be in the far future after 111, because, again it will be the EOT, and “no-one knows the hour….”

Herein we demonstrate the 800 year accuracy of the Papal list by looking at Pope numbers 109 and 110

109: “De Medietate Lunae” or “of the half moon”. This relates to Pope John Paul I. He was elected a few days before the half moon phase, and died a few days after the ensuing half moon phase.

110: “De Labore Solis” or “of the labor sun”. This relates to Pope John Paul II. There was a solar eclipse on both the day he was born and the day he was buried. Another interpretation is possible. JPII was instrumental in the fall of communism in his home country of Poland, starting the dominoes for the end of the Soviet Union. The proximate cause of this was through the LABOR union known as SOLidarity. It must be realized that at the time of St. Malachy:

1. The Poland we know didn’t exist, nor even Italy.
2. Labor unions came about 700 years later. Even Labor guilds were 300 years later.
3. The word Solidarity wasn’t invented until 1829.
4. Notice that it is not “labor of the sun”. It is “of the labor sun”.

So, we can say the saint sure was a good guesser 800 years ahead of time.
The major point here is that with the death of Pope Benedict XVI on December 31, 2022, something big, just short of the EOT is in the offing.
