The story behind the story of the “Great Sign” of Revelation chapter 12 happening in 2005.

HARBINGER

I wrote a ‘fictional’ book titled Cosmic Locusts in 2002 about Earth’s encounter with a galactic center energy burst and a cometary storm. The self published books showed up on my doorstep September 25, 2002. That same day, a meteor air bursted over Boyaboo, Siberia, flattening 40 square miles of forest. It also had electrical energy properties causing the lights of the nearby town, which was at the time under a blackout, to come back ON!

I shortly after started the first iteration of my Authors Den page. I posted my first article titled Cosmic Coincidences on March 26, 2003. That day, a swarm of small meteorites hit suburban Chicago. I was then rightly concerned about posting my next article, especially since the only recorded modern incident of a human being struck by a meteorite was the week I was born. Weirdly, I decided to calculate when the next meteorite hit would be by counting the days between incident number one and number two, and adding that to the date of number 2. As I came up with an answer, the power in my house blinked. I thought it was stupid as the result came within a day or two of one year after the first incident. Be that as it may, I posted my next article one month ahead of time, making the prediction. Here are the incidents that happened circa a couple days of the late September 2003 prediction.

1. Fireballs in the sky over Australia, France, and San Francisco.
2. Meteorite crashed through a 2 story house and into the basement in New Orleans.
3. Metorite fall in India causes a hut to catch fire. A man gets burned and possibly someone dies from heart attack.

FIRST THINGS FIRST

The first chapter of my ‘novel’ involves an astronomer traveling across the country to get time on the Very Large Array radio telescope at Sorocco, New Mexico. He discovers an unusual burst of energy from the Galactic Center. The International Astronomical Union gives it an alphanumeric designation. My first chapter would come true FIVE days after hitting my doorstep, when astronomy professor Scott Hyman travels from Virginia to New Mexico to use the VLA, and discovers an energy burst from the Galactic Center. And yes it gets an alphanumeric designation from the IAU. (Update: I have discovered the Galactic burst upon my book’s arrival repeated itself also the last week of September 2003. Add that to the list above.)

YOU MIGHT ‘ASSUME’ IT’S ALL A COINCIDENCE

I entered the Catholic Church Easter 2003. My first Holy Day of Obligation would be the Feast of the Assumption, August 15, 2003. The reading is the Great Sign of Revelation chapter 12, with the woman standing on the moon, dressed in the sun with a crown of 12 stars. I left thinking that could happen in the sky at some point. I mentioned it to noone.
A couple weeks goes by and someone contacts me on my AD message board. Seems he had been studying Persian astronomy and predicted the Great Sign would happen October 3, 2005. He researched to see if anyone else was prophesying that date, and found me. October 3 is prominent in my book. NOW THAT’S DEEP!


I had been following the NASA Deep Impact mission to strike a comet with a five hundred pound copper projectile on July 4, 2005. Since the target comet was named Tempel, I wondered about a connection, since it would be 3 months before the predicted Sign. I would discover the impact would take place near the star named Spica. Spica is the brightest star of the constellation Virgo, which is of course where the sign was to take place. Artcle photo is of the actual impact, which shocked the NASA scientists.

The next August 15, 2004 Feast of the Assumption rolls around. Time to go listen to the Rev 12, 1 verse again. But guess what? Before that, the last verse of chapter 11 is part of the reading:

Revelation Chapter 11, Verse 19

Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.

1. The flash is obvious.
2. 8/29/05 Hurricane Katrina 3,000 killed
3. 12/26/04 Indonesian earthquake and tsunami 250,000 killed.
4. Upper left in the photo of the comet nucleus is a rectangular object. (Tabernacle?)
5. Strangely, Deep Impact was supposed to leave and go observe another comet, but it had disappeared. While awaiting reprogramming, the probe was forced to still be in Virgo for 3 months until after the Great Sign had been completed. In fact, at the time of ‘The Great Sign, comet Tempel and Deep Impact were at Virgo’s feet, associating with the serpent at the woman’s feet. See Revelation chapter 12.
