In 2000, doctors gave the 32-year-old from Rothwell, Yorkshire, six months to live after discovering secondary cancers riddling her body. Chemotherapy and Jane's fitness combined to help her fight the disease, although doctors say her cancer is still terminal. 6 years on, she is preparing for her 4,200 mile, sixty day journey from San Fran Cisco to New York. She will  fly out for the challenge on June 23. Challenge ... 4,200 mile route She will raise money for cancer research and various children's charities. Husband Mike said: "Jane wants to prove a terminal diagnosis doesn't stop you making the most of your life and doing something people couldn't imagine. "Jane's not brave because she got cancer - she's brave because of what she's done since the diagnosis." Jane's previous successful challenges include a Lands End to John O'Groats cycle ride, the Flora London Marathon, and the Ironman UK Triathlon
