The Hills are Alive!

Spring has finally arrived here in Northern California! The hills are like green crumpled velvet. Dotted with happy golden poppies, wild mustard and Queen Annes Lace. Plunging my hands in the earth, I can feel the first real warmth creeping into the soil. The connection I feel to gardeners the world over, is strong and sure. Our season has come again!

I have some exciting news to share with you! This morning, etera, the perennial plant company contacted me and asked if I would personally home test their plants. I was delighted! I don't recommend products to you that I haven't tested myself, so this will be a great opportunity to really see how good they are. I would like this to be a regular feature of this column. The testing and reveiw of products offered by companies like etera, will in the long run, save you time, money and frustration.
