The story of how I came to write my first story and where I am going from here.

My name is Angelica Anita, please call me Angie or Anita if you want to be my friend, discussing books or whatever comes to mind; or even just as a professional acquaintance.

I have finally found the perfect world for me to write., where the sun dips into the horizon, painting the sky with hues of crimson and gold, and the tropical sea is right outside my kitchen window where I prepare my morning java . That place is on an island far out in the western Pacific Ocean in Southeast Asia called Luzon, Philippines.

My story begins with the publishing of my 1st novelette: “Beyond the Malay Pirates: Adventures in Danger and Peril’, on 12-18-24. This book’s setting is also in the Pacific Ocean and lies between the Indian Ocean in Southeast Asia.

When I was researching the subject matter for my 1st book, I just chose whatever topic excited me the most. As I write this it is dawning on me that my choice was more profound than I realized at the time.

As this new chapter in my life unfolds, not only will my future books involve tales of adventure, and the pursuit of paradise, but so will my own life, I hope!

Since I was a young child, I have needed to be where the rhythms of the ocean and the warmth of the sand became the soundtrack to my life. Here is where I will create my new book series about staying, eating, and visiting exciting, exotic places without spending any money, (or as cheaply as possible to still be comfortable, clean and safe!

Each book in my series will encompass seeing the sites, staying in exotic locales such as castles, and monasteries; eating as much as possible while spending very little. Together we will journey to Paris, Bangkok, Maui, Athens, Madrid and many other cities for pennies on the dime! And travelling on a shoestring (not Literally, of course!) while in each city.

The entire book series will only encompass safe, legal, hygienic choices for nomads and even budget-minded people all compacted into a new 2025 book that will be easy to refer to and carry everywhere you go.



My travels to find the “perfect” idyll have taken me to the farthest reaches of the globe, from the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean, the remote Mormon-controlled island of Tonga, and the Aztec temples in Guatemala. And then, finally in 2023, like a beacon calling out to me, I travelled to Cagayan, Philippines – a hidden gem nestled far out alone in the heart of the Pacific.

The island's rugged beauty, its warm people, and its laid-back atmosphere captured my heart. My search was over, and now I am broke! (Just kidding.)

Does life have more surprises in store for me? I spent most of my life as a cook and have 3 adult children with families of their own now. Now I am trading in my hats to become creative at writing, learning and educating through literature.

“The blank page will become my canvas, and my imagination my pen.”

Today, as I sit putting pen to paper. With my loyal stuffed animals by my side, I will weave tales that transport readers to far-off lands and distant shores. And transform even the most ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences.
