Current climatic change has proved that global warming is directly impacting on the planet, rising in sea level, the melting of icecaps, extinct of species, and the dawn of new resistance disease in the Sub-Sahara.

It is evidently cleared that man activities is responsible for over half of the green house gases. It is dire to say that the continuing burning of fossil fuel capable of keeping the atmosphere warmer cannot cause an end to mankind, the mere discovering of fire by the early men wiped the whole generation of dinosaur from the surface of the earth. The discovery of fire brought changes to the earth that many ecosystems and species that could not adapt to the innovation were completely wiped out whereas other species developed strong resistant to the effect.

Those responsible for larger proportion of the effect of Global warming are the developed countries. The poor countries that produce lesser of these gases are suffering much of the impacts. Although Africa produce less than 10% of the world fossil energy use of any major world region, Africa may be the most vulnerable continent to climate change, signs of changing climate in Africa have already emerged, spreading disease and melting glaciers in the mountains, warming temperatures in drought-prone areas, and sea-level rise and coral bleaching along the coastlines.

Higher temperature and drought will cause more powerful wildfires in Africa, and the poor will remain the major casualties of Global warming, as increasingly extreme weather conditions threaten their subsistence livelihoods and encourage diseases like malaria to travel further inland. Africa is more vulnerable in the sense that there are more people depending on agriculture and more people already in poverty. Africa is the continent that will suffer most under climate change with an increase in undernourishment, malnutrition, malaria and related deaths.

In the cause of this event, the sceptics of global warming only remind us of the days of Noah through the flood, while Noah obeyed the divine called and led his family into the Ark before the flood, the Sceptics of the flood were parties until they perished in the flood. The possibility of another phenomenon that could wipe mankind is here, the atmospheric temperature is increasing as the level of CO2 increase. Scientists’ evidences have showed that the depletion of Ozone layer is one out of many factors responsible for global warming. If the chlorofluorocarbon and or chlorine gas responsible for the depletion of ozone lawyer are eliminated or control with alternative sources of gases, it is still cleared that global warming is inevitable as long as gas emission continue.

The increase of CO2 in the atmosphere is as a result of combustive action due to man activities, industries, uses of automobile and others engines that generate CO2 in the atmosphere. The over presence of CO2 in the atmosphere is richly responsible for the increase in the atmospheric temperature and hence global warming.
The CO2 is generated in every area of man endeavour and this possibly will increase as developing countries massively geared up to improve on their technological known-how.
The technological advancement of the developing countries means more CO2 will be release into the atmosphere.

For a degree rise in temperature the whole glacier ice is bound to melt, there will be rise in sea level as the sea water get warmer and the ice melt. For 1 inch rise in sea level, many Islands will submerge, many cities will be flooded, the displaced will look for alternative habitat, and the numbers of environmental refugee will be running to millions.
With degree rise in temperature, many species that cannot adapt to the new temperature will be lost, the present trend of disease causative agent may not survive as other that will survive the new temperature will come into view, this will cost more money to develop drugs that can combat such new diseases. Many ecosystem and species will not survive the new trend; ordinarily a change in weather condition is accompanied with illness in sub Sahara Africa.
50 % of all malnutrition-related deaths occur in Africa, while a 1ºC rise in temperature will increase the people affected by hunger, potentially by 30 to 200 million worldwide. Globally, Africa and Western Asia will suffer the largest crop losses, while these regions are highly dependent on agriculture and have the largest limits in purchasing power. Conflict and violence triggered by scarce resources and famine will likely bring West Africa to socio-political instability, as millions of people will be displaced by drought and water shortages in the poorer areas. World Bank specialists estimated that approximately 7 million people migrated - driven by food scarcity - out of the 80 million semi-starving in sub-Saharan Africa due to environmental factors, and this is only to be aggravated in the future due to global warming.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon has famously and controversially linked the conflict in Darfur to global warming. Though experts are wary of connecting Darfur directly to climate change, they say the rapid desertification of East Africa has played a role – and that this trend is only accelerating. Decreased food production has set off large-scale migrations across the region. In Darfur, food scarcity is thought to have brought herders and agriculturalists into conflict with one another.
These patterns hold true across East Africa – from Kenya to Uganda to Eritrea, with desertification and rising populations creating enormous pressures on shrinking resources. Food production in some parts of the region is expected to decline by as much as 70 percent in the future, according to a recent UN report. It is the speed of this change, accelerated by global warming, that is of greatest concern to many analysts.
We are not unaware of the packet of problems in most of these developing countries, raging from inflation to social political economic difference. It is however shocking that regardless of the call to reduce gas emission, many leader in some countries still paid little or no attention to the effect it pose in the nearest future.

The whole world appear to have left the issue of Global warming to USA and few other developed countries to solve, nevertheless there is an urgent need for every nation to begin to hunt for solution to combat global warming.

Even though we cannot rule out renewable energy source as a quick way to solve this problem, it will be suitable that the reduction in gas emission be in phase along with the development and the uses of renewable energy. If this is acceptable the developing countries should be at the forefront of this campaign. An establishment of green house reduction emission policy in all countries is necessary; there is need for every country to reduce gas emission, to save the earth, and to prevent the advert effect of global warming.

The developing countries has major role to play to help end the problem of global warming, it is only in a summit that call for every countries participations that will eventually end the problem.
