A real story about unnatural happenings in our home. Was it a ghost? We think so. Who can explain the paranormal?

Strange things started happening soon after we moved into our new home in Miami. We had never believed in ghosts, but after living there for seventeen years, unexplained occurances made believers of us!

One evening, soon after we had moved in, the rocking chair in the living room started rocking by itself. We all looked at each other in total disbelief! That was the beginning of visits by "Arthur", our invisible ghost.

After we were all in bed, bumps,thumps, the sound of someone brushing against the wall,and the shuffling of footsteps could be heard in the hallway. We got up to investigate, no one was there. How could we explain the unexplainable which occured almost on a nightly basis.

If a coat hanger was hanging on the door knob, it would begin to swing by itself. We'd say," Arthur is here again", and we'd laugh.

Sometimes we'd see a dark shadow moving in the hall. It seemed to float a few inches above the floor. When it reached the end of the hall, it would disapear. My husband and I felt our visitor was a man. Once I felt him sit on foot of our bed and saw a fairly large imprint on the sheet. It was scarey, but no harm ever came to us!

I called a medium to schedule a seance. She advised against one. She said that sometimes a spirit will attach themselves to someone for various reasons, and since we had not had any bad expierences, we should leave it alone, so we heeded her advice.

Arthur stayed with us until we sold the house and moved to Punta Gorda. I sometimes wonder if he visits the new owners with his ghostly presence. Whoever he was, I pray that one day he will find peace, and go toward the light. We still talk about him and the affect he had on our lives.

He made us believe in "GHOSTS"!
