The tomb was empty..JESUS was no longer there..HE IS RISEN

"If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."-John 7 vs 37-38

"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" -John 11 vs 25-26

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?"-John 14 vs 1-5

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him and have seen him."-John 14 vs 6-7


The fire that lit the boiler of the New Testament church was an unquenchable belief that if Jesus had been only a man, he would have stayed in the tomb.

They couldn't stay silent about the fact that the one they saw hung on a cross walked again on the earth and appeared to five hundred people.

I wonder if sometimes we stay silent because we've forgotten the one who was on that cross.

Let us ask our Father humbly, yet confidently in the name of Jesus and Jesus alone, to remind us of the empty tomb. Let us see the victorious Jesus the conqueror of the tomb, the one who defied death. And let us be reminded that we too will be granted that same victory if we make a change in our lives.

Thank you Lord Jesus for the sweet surprise of what many know of today as Easter Morning ...But, over in the church house we call it "Resurrection Morning" For the bible declares he was resurrected not "Easter". This day along with Christmas is about the only day you see a lot of people get dressed up coming out to the house of the Lord.

But, when they leave HIS HOUSE...back to the same ol' thing. Let us realize that "death" awaits us. We don't know how soon it'll be our turn to leave from off the face of this earth. But, what you can do in the mean time my friend is ask the Lord to show you what He has kindly, and so patiently shown others.

Remember NOTHING IS TOO IMPOSSIBLE for Almighty God. Question is...Do you believe?

That's ok....Recognize the Lord has something in store for you and He's just waiting until you ask and then you'll receive it. His love for you is deeper than the sea is wide.
