A Peacock is a very beautiful bird. Is that right? The long feathers do nothing to help in the hunt for food or self-defense..the feathers are only a show piece to attract a mate. Won't you let KING JESUS attract you? Live a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

Can money really buy your love?

If money can't buy love then why do we find success so tempting (enticing, arouse one's desire etc.)....so intriguing (to peek one's curiosity)......For most of us achieving success means landing a job of higher status than the one currently occupied.

And with that success a bigger paycheck. Now, there's nothing wrong with wanting to do better for yourself or your family but, when we allow that selfish pride to get in the way then it does become an issue. When we begin to look down upon people for no apparent reason other than the fact you feel you have more to offer than they do this is wrong.

We naturally regard the successful people as being more attractive to look at...smarter...the people to hang with (the quote on quote "in crowd".....the people to trust category etc. But, even successful people are not above the Lord. Who made it possible for us to have the jobs and money that we have right now?

We don't even have to give the Lord credit if we so choose not to. This is a individual thing...a individual choice that only we can make for ourselves. "For he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." (Matthew 5:45)

Food for thought:

After all if given a choice would you rather marry a surgeon than someone who can't keep a job? ..... Success to a lot of people is viewed as having all power within' ones hands. There's no denying it. As you sit back and rethink over this post and the points brought up in it your mind is probably flooded with much thoughts.

It's different than most I know. But, then again the one that sent me is different. He's Awesome in every way. He is my joy today. He is King Jesus..But, oh, how few believe it. Who will take the time to listen if even but a few minutes..or a few seconds?

In God's eyes he was like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. But in our eyes there was no attractiveness at all. nothing to make us want him. Is that right? Some of us having even stated what we viewed him as in our minds.

To each nationality he might have appeared this way to you.... and then this way to you over here. But, "Loved One" what does the word of God say about the matter? Right now you may feel you don't have time to include Jesus in your busy schedule of doing things. That's ok. If, that's how you really feel down on the inside.

Nobody will hold anything over you "Loved One" or make you feel as an "unequal" because your not. And anybody that doesn't take the time to explain where he/she is coming from when discussing this very matter haven't come to the full knowledge of the truth just yet.

If, one professes to be called of the Living God he/she knows how to show compassion (love) toward their fellowman. Whether the people we come in contact with is saved or unsaved. Is that right? You don't have to walk around with a great big ol' sign wrapped around your neck with arrow pointing upward stating who you are because of your position in the church.

Your life and the way that you carry yourself will speak more to a common stranger than what you give credit for. But, when people see you like to argue and always cause a bunch of commotion it paints a very negative image of the church. The Body of Christ is Intelligent and are Ambassadors of Christ. We have no time for such foolishness. Put away childish behavior and walk in the newness of Christ.

So, many hold titles and just like the world it goes to their head. Then what happens? They forget why God called them out of the "darkness" in the first place. He called us out of the "darkness" into the marvelous light. Look where he brought us from.

Where did he bring you from if you still like to have the last word? Because things didn't go your way?

Even being able to tell the other what thus saith the Lord there's a way of doing it. Are you following me ((smiles)) The bible tells us to love our neighbors. If you love your neighbor as much as you love yourself you will not want to harm or cheat him, or kill him or steal from him. And you won't sin with his wife or want what is his, or do anything else the Ten Commandments say is wrong. All ten are wrapped up in this one, to love your neighbor as you love yourself.

Love does no wrong to anyone. That's why it fully satisfies all of God's requirement. Another reason for right living is this: Time is winding down. The hands are just about at midnight. "The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof." (Romans Ch 13:9-14)

Perhaps, you've been to a church where the truth has not been taught as the bible tells us it suppose to be. Perhaps, you have witness some things that you care not to be reminded of. Perhaps, the exchange of money was handled improperly at the hands of people who portrayed a image of being faithful but in the end you found them to be nothing more than common thieves with sticky fingers.

Perhaps, the preacher of that church was living any ol' type of way and it has "scarred" you to a certain degree. Or maybe you just can't bring yourself to follow God's rules. Whatever, the case may be "Loved One" let me attempt to familiarize you with the Man that holds all power and is all that to so many. Who are willing to give him a chance to come into their lives. "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." (Matthew Ch. 28:18)

Don't allow the "negative" things you have seen with your "natural eyes" or heard with your "natural ears" block you from the "truth" Always remember somebody somewhere is living right. Not everybody is a hypocrite. Because if the reason your not attending church services is due to any of the above mentioned statements remember we all have to stand before the Lord one day.

And we can't use that excuse "Well, sister so in so did this and brother so in so did that and made me feel like this.".....It won't hold up "Loved One". A good example is this: We all have family members that can be viewed as something else. Would you stop being related to them because they act out in a certain way? If your child was disabled would you abandon him/her off on someone else because it was embarrassment to you? That's all I'm saying...

He was talked about in the Old Testament. The Prophet Isaiah was given "the Immanuel Prophecy". Isaiah Ch. 7:14 "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Im-man'-u-el." So, see "Loved Ones" we were given a taste of him from so long ago. ((smiles))

He was then again introduced to us over in the New Testament beginning with the book of Matthew Chapter 1 beginning with verse 18-25 "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying BEHOLD, A VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD, AND SHALL BRING FORTH A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME EM-MAN'UEL, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS."

But who is this JESUS? Why is he so important? Why should I care about what he wants for my life? What did Jesus ever do for me that makes him so special and someone I should be thankful unto even more than I already am?

Let us go inside THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST.......

We despised him and rejected him...My Lord. A man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterness and grief. Then we just simply turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. Knocking at the doors of our hearts...our minds. He was despised and we didn't even care.

"Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him: he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief; when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his see, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." (Isaiah Ch. 53:1-12)

"The author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds."

We have often heard the common phrase "Money is power". But, is money really power? You might be able to throw your weight around for the time being with it. But, in the end what will it get you? What rewards will you have stored up for yourself in the very end? We talk about the way we suppose to look and so forth. But, what does God want? What is His Will and thoughts upon the ones that we have for ourselves? We rather follow after someone else than to follow to Christ.

Have we come to a final conclusion that "man" can speak a word that surpasses Almighty God's Holy Word? Especially, when what man has to say can't save us from ourselves or others?

Matthew Ch. 16 vs 24-28 reads as follows: "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom."

Back to the riches of this ol' world that we live in....You just might find a surgeon and a best-selling novelist having something in common. They found the strength to persevere over the many years it took them to develop their craft or to earn their degrees.

What they have in common is NOT wealth it is RESOURCEFULNESS. The resourcefulness know how to set the right goals
and have the capacity to OVERCOME the inevitable obstacles that confront them.

It's not easy to tell if the person before you has grit...maybe they are just playing a game trying to feign more confidence than
they really possess. Alright all you game players out there. ((smiles)) This is all to common.

More people talk a good game than anything else. Just like you will find more people talk big in a lot of discussions on a message board and say you meet that person and you find out they're nothing like they portrayed across a computer screen but just the opposite.

See you can give people the image that your super bad and don't take nothing off of anyone but the question still remains will you be like that if someone meets you face to face? Don't answer to quick. Stop and think about it for a while.

And furthermore....Why would you project yourself this way across the Internet?....Does it give you a "rush" or something? Do you feel any better than you did before? Probing questions.....Things that you make you think huh?... It's not to upset anyone .....it's just things that will burn down on the inside of you giving you another picture of who you are.....and what you are to other people. Should we be concerned with how we project ourselves to others? Yes and no.


Sometimes it makes one curious why we do the things that we do. It's easy to throw words around. It's just like passing a ball.

But when one grows tired of passing that ball then life goes back to the same ol' same ol. Your still looking after the children wiping and cleaning up behind them. (Like good parent(s) would do) Your still trying to make ends meet to be a good provider for you and your family. Your still attending those important meetings trying to get your point over. Hoping maybe just maybe that somebody will hear you out.

Your still that great friend to somebody who's in need of a good friend. Your still that "special" daughter or son to mom and dad don't care how your life turned out. You my friend still have things down on the inside of you that's just waiting to "burst" out and come forth doing remarkable things that will really define you. Jesus wants to define you. He even wants to love you. For his love for you is deeper than the sea is wide.

We don't have to live a life built upon a lie. We don't have to all be successful just to be considered important. The man upstairs is always faithful. Unlike many others who wear "masks" and "portray" a certain image before us.

People who fake being who they really are or what they can possibly be will be detected eventually. Just like if we live any kind of way that is not pleasing to the Lord it soon will be detected eventually. And you got God's word on it. It's all in making your own individual choice.

But people are not animals. You have a soul that is in deep need of a "spiritual cleansing" Let the Lord cleanse you this day and be blessed.
