Sin - definition that does not fit the preachers designs.

SIN . . .

. . . is when we forget our oneness with GOD, this is sin in its most basic form, and it creates all types of pain and suffering. It causes disease and hurt. Sin can be action or inaction, as well as thought, word, or deed. Sin causes problems and hurt in your own life as well as in the lives of those around you. The sin that is the most evil is that which was done knowingly with the intent of causing hurt to others.

We are all connected, sin reaches everywhere through that connection. Goodness will also reach through that same connection.

Sin passing through the spiritual connection contaminates the very essence of GOD of which we are part. The farthest extreme of the universe is effected by our actions both good or otherwise.

Separateness from GOD and from each other is a major component of sin. The idea that our actions are ours and ours alone is an illusion, a part of our belief system, and is no excuse. Sin permeates the fabric of the universe through this illusion. It harms others - it harms ourselves. Our spirits hurt when we do wrong. Others hurt when we do wrong. When we unknowingly do wrong, the hurt may not as intense, but it is there nevertheless. Sometimes hurt will be for the growth of another. Only GOD knows if this is the case. It is not for us to make that judgment. We can not judge what is - or what is not sin in others for we do not know the reasons, the cause, nor their intent. We can only see the results.

The original sin was abandoning our spiritual nature and entering a physical body to experience the pleasure of the physical world. These pleasures were addictive and we were trapped. The physical world has been symbolized as the "forbidden fruit". The fig leaf is a symbol of our fear of GOD and our trying to hide from GOD behind that fear.

There is no sin that cannot be forgiven, even the original sin of addiction. We were co-creators of this world and its inhabitants. We were to be observers, not participants. We sinned . . .

We can forgive ourselves. That forgiveness will also travel through the many connections of the ONE GOD and thus help to decontaminate the fabric of GOD.

We have free will to work for or against GOD. We have the free will to end the illusion, to stay here and suffer, or we can work for the betterment of mankind.
