A near brush with death in the article "The Day After" was the start of these events. This is the follow-up.

This is a follow-up on an article which was written was written a year ago. There has been a medical repeat – sort of – recently.
This time the cause seemed to be two fold with the main cause being over medication. The second was a cardiac irregularity of a half century standing. We assume the triggering cause of a year ago was an allergic reaction to Bounce Fabric Softener Sheets which is a wonderful mosquito repellant. I had many of these sheets around me for 3 days and 2 nights (Sleeping out of doors requires a mosquito repellant but there was too much of it). That overdose caused presumably the problem to come to the fore.
The present, recent recurrence was a spiral downward of physical abilities until walking was becoming difficult, almost to the point of confinement in a wheel chair.
Back to the hospital where the medications were corrected and electric shock through my chest ended the cardiac irregularity of long standing. Electric shock did not work a year ago, but now - - -
The ability to walk returned within a couple of days. Muscles were weak from so long a time of inactivity and that caused difficulty walking, but now - - -
I feel nearly normal now.
It is interesting to note how my philosophical outlook changed and became more accepting of anything that would come. Death, I realize, does not exist – just life changing to a different form.
There is now a greater yearning to know more than ever, and the knowledge is pouring in from many sources. I find I am unable to discuss this with most people as they have no idea just what it is that I am trying to explain. When they get the necessary background, then we can talk. I do not want to talk down to anybody and hope they will not think this to be case.
It can be a lonely world when deep communication is not always possible.
So this is the follow-up. I pray these problems are now over.
