What Do You Know And How Do You Know It?

How does one answer a question like this?
Knowledge is cumulative, the results of a lifetime of living – of experience. Life experiences can be directed to a considerable extent by desire, training, education, or any combination of many factors.
My beginnings were in the misty distant past in which I had a great interest in things religious – later spiritual – which accumulated day by day, experience by experience, lifetime by lifetime. It is cumulative.
Today is the totality of all that has been. Can this be called wisdom?
I don’t know!
However this accumulation is not considered to be “normal” in today’s frantic, hectic society. Accumulated life experiences have resulted in a calmness which is not easily disturbed. It sees through the falseness of what is being presented today as truth, fact, crisis, “gotta have”, etc.
The nest question which follows logically is: “How much of what we see is real and what is illusion?” Naturally this will lead to a philosophical discourse which I feel inadequate to go into. However it does raise questions regarding reality and how can one determine face from fanciful fiction. The illusion is so well presented as to make the line of demarcation nearly impossible to determine.
How do you understand this?
Once again it is impossible to say. It is just an inner knowing probably based on experiences but with obvious spiritual overtones.
When someone asks me to define “Spiritual”, that only says they lack the understanding to follow a discourse such as this. And “Prove It”- - - this is an argumentative declaration that indicates the discussion is over, that there is and has been no communication.
This is sad for eventually everybody will walk this path. Many great Teachers have presented mankind with the path and how to walk it. Most were ignored – many were killed/crucified. Followers and believers have also been exterminated.
This is no great personal loss, but the loss to mankind can be and has been extreme. The deceased will go home to rest and recuperate, to regain strength and wisdom and possible/probably return to further assist humanity. The cycle of death and rebirth is endless. With each recurring cycle, mankind increases in understanding and wisdom even if only infinitesimal in scope. But then we have all of eternity to come to reality
Do we need this much time? That is up to each of us individually. Hopefully peer pressure will eventually go against ignorance, violence, and other such stupidity.
