I use the term ONE GOD, and capitalize all six letters when I use that term. I use it quite often in my talk, and frequently in my writings. It is not the name of God -- it is but a description of God.
Since ONE GOD has no name that we could possibly utter with the human tongue, we are free to choose any name with which we are comfortable. God understands and accepts whatever name we use. Each culture and each society will decide on a convenient name which is often arbitrary. It is definitely not something to argue about. ONE GOD is not a name, but a description.
ONE GOD: there is only ONE GOD, and He's everywhere. He is Everything. I show my cultural bias by the term HE when I refer to God. English - which is the language I use - is a little bit quirky in that the HE can also include SHE. God is both HE and SHE. God is beyond sex, male or female.
