What's the point of feeling anything but grateful?




I am grateful . . .

1. That I have this computer.

2. That I am surrounded by six beautiful cats, two awesome dogs, two joyful birds and an easygoing fish.

3. That I'm married to the best man in the world.

4. That I have a son with such integrity that I really do sometimes think one person can change the world.

5. That I have a mother that always shares her wisdom from her endless endeavor of soul searching and finding Enlightenment.

6. That my mother has someone fun to share her journey with.

7. For old Christmas music.

8. That I was able to leave the city behind.

9. That I can string more than a couple of sentences together.

10. For every single moment of my life that shows me that God is real.

11. For the rocks I have collected.

12. That my mother in law isn't typical.

13. That I was able and willing to help a family member when they really needed it.

14. That I was able to make friends with a little red fox.

15. That there are a family of Blue Jays that come to visit.

16. That I am a RECOVERING alcoholic.

17. That I actually care about what happens to me because I enjoy being here (on Earth).

18. That I am strong enough not to go shopping anywhere near Christmas time. All year is for giving.

19. That I don't have any money for Christmas shopping. It prevents me from doing something I will inevitably regret doing.

20. That there are other people in this world that chose to live their dream. Inspiration is the key to fulfilling dreams.
