What is the first house?

The first house is the entrance point of life. It is the 'stargate' of the soul where you make the transition from one dimension of being to another. This is the point at which your soul has to squeeze into your new body, mind and personality.

All the points of interest in the first house, astrology, archetypes, guides, mentors and talismans are indications of the primary conditions that you set up for filtering through and connecting to the earth realm.

There are three layers to the mask your soul wears in order to maintain your position on this planet – like a specialized spacesuit, our bodies, our minds and our ego make up the essential components of our 'earthsuit' and these are the things that we shed when we pass over and go back HOME.

The body is the physical vehicle that we use to get around on earth. The first house contains the blueprints of our physical conditions, the body we are using. The animal guides and astrology of this house in the chart will give clues as to what you were expecting from your body.

The mind is the mental filter (perceptions) that you are using to navigate through life. Archetypes in the first house are programs that allow to process the experiences you have in life and will be most prominent in the 'firsts' of your current life. Meeting others for the first time, entering new situations and encountering new challenges, and also your personal motivation to seek out new situations in your life, all of this is filtered through your mind which is where the archetypes are in place and remember, you placed your archetypal programs there.

The ego gives you patterns of consistency in your personal behavior. The ego is usually the first thing you offer to anyone in new situations.

Any Animal Spirit Guides that show up here would be considered that of a "Power Animal" and denotes the personality traits within yourself that you find most comfortable when projecting your image into the world. Generally you will portray physical characteristics of one of your power animals.
This guide is the one that alerts you when you are not living up to your own standards and why you may feel inner conflicts about how you are behaving in the present circumstances of your life.

Your Power Animal Guide will not let you get away with giving up on your self or handing your life over to your ego.

For some people, the sixth house issues are interpreted as boring, mundane, the humdrum of daily life and the area where we deal most with our own limitations however the reality of the sixth house is this is the area of your life that you have the grand opportunity to be aware of every living moment. Not to be mistaken with things like a rabbit's foot that has no value and doesn't get programmed into a life chart. Body parts that are being used by others are not items for talisman use. A talisman causes no harm when acquiring which includes the cutting of trees or removing items from nature in a way that's harmful to the earth's natural environment. A talisman is programmed into your chart naturally and will take very little effort for you to acquire should you need it at some point. Talisman's are usually connected to your animal spirit guide in some way. For example, I have black kyanite in my sixth house which helps me to connect with my Raven animal guide who is present in my sixth house.
