Ngati and few more other children had come by our pages, most, from Karen Lynn Vidra.
Some read and comment/review the topic, some just read it, a few turn the page because the past come again knocking on their door.
I so wish that everybody in AD put a comment, to let anybody opening our pages to know how we feel and how they should feel.

Mothers or fathers shouting at their children how stupid, moronic, idiotic, ugly, good for nothing they are are perhaps doing more damage than when a belt hits the sking.
A searing physical pain will be for a few seconds and subside in a handful of minutes.
The psychical pain will be there forever, no excuse or "how sorry I am" will unring the bell, ever.
From childhood we progress into adulthood, but the child inside us never leaves, it will be there remembering the few morsels of love as it will be nursing the wounds, welts and scars always afraid of getting more.
The twisted mind of many parents cannot undertand why, when they became helpless the children put them in a nursing home and disappear; why they can see they grandchildren to apply the discipline they need; why Christmas go by without a visit, or a post card, or a kind word from the home staff.
When my Air Force brothers died in combat, the child inside them stop crying, but their pain went on living with my child inside, our welts could have made a fine tapestry of cruelty.
You life kind of take a turn for the worst hearing of your father's dead that, "when the dog dies, so do the rabies it had."
Why I call all the parents that practice cruelty on their children Parents from Hell? because, even accepting that God sometimes shows a weird sense of humor, I don't think He would have such a bad moment.
God never says oops!

Mental and emotional abuse never goes away. It festers like a cancer. Eating away at the subconscoius and the heart, aiding in the destruction of the ability to develop any kind of lasting relationship with something other than drugs, alcohol or destructive and addictive behavior patterns. NOTHING good comes from abuse. Nothing.

Abuse: whether physical, mental, emotional, sexual should not be tolerated. PERIOD. End of statement.

Those who abuse cease to be human in my eyes. PERIOD.

Enough is enough: when are we finally going to stand up and say, NO MORE?

Excellent reminder, even though it shouldn't have to be written.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

I'll go one more to Kathy Armijo's statement: Or privates. Or legs. That way, they can't use something else to replace the penis; they can't hold onto anything; they can't run away. Kick 'em like the vermin they are. GRRRRRRRRRr

The feelings suffered from abuse never die. Those who have felt abuse as an adult or child MUST remember do NOT perpetuate that ugliness, remembering their suffering from the past.

Each time I read about abuse, it breaks my heart. God gave humanity free will, but I wish He'd given abusers no hands or mouth.

Parents who abuse their kids should have their kids taken away from them and the kids should go to parents who will LOVE them, nurture them, make sure they are safe! These monsters who repeatedly harm their kids via verbal, emotional, physical, sexual, and mental abuse should rot in jail or get the same treatment they inflicted upon their very own children. How anyone can do that to a child is beyond me. Heartbreaking article; I will continue to speak out against this horror!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears! <

And if the child being abused is handicapped....don't GET me started on THAT. That's even WORSE.
