Mr. Barack Obama may or may not become the next President of the United States, but I don't think it is because he is black, or Irish American, or minority, or anything else. He is in the presidential race because every American can and should do it if they think that they can serve their country better than the GOP.
But, always it is a but somewhere, Mr. Obama is a very light-weight, his power base are non existent, just a lot of people with centuries of grievances and extremist preachers that say God wish they are driven in a unblemished new Cadillac.
Mr. Obama as President will have a hostile Congress which no President to this day's dato could Veto, Veto, Veto into submission.
The Congress, House of Representants, White House, Pentagon and everybody else holding the most minimal stick of power are OWNED by the Corporations.
You want the soldiers out of Iraq? tell that to the manufacturer that renew contracts with the Defense Department and Pentagon.
You want Universal Healt Care? tell that to the Pharmaceutical Consortiums and Billion Insurance Industry, which couldn't milk the American sick out of their last drop of blood.
You want Justice? tell that to the 100 Native American Nations that have been corraled with no dignity left to speak of.
You want CHANGE? so, don't go Obamas road, remember Dr. Martin Luther King, he also wanted change and got a bullet for his troubles.
If you want CHANGE, kick every one from Congress, the ones giving kickbacks (lobbyist) to the one taking it, forbid reelection and nepotism that had kept people around the corridors of the Hill for generations.
You want CHANGE? start using your brain!
