It is such a global tragedy
& the horrid reality knowing little children are trained to have these mind-sets of Hostility & Vengeance as a presedence to life just weighs heavy on everyone
Mothers delivering bombs with their children, maybe they all want to, but maybe they have no choices when their superiors give them an order to do it. It's a harsh harm to swallow either way.

Killing human beings is wrong: no cause can justify it. Using phosphorous munitions on civilians is particularly heinous. Launching missiles at Israeli civilians is barbaric. No comparisons with greater horrors can turn wrong into right - that is merely Realpolitik. When we stop trying to justify 'our' killing as being okay, we'll have a chance at a better world. The Israelis and the Palestinians are both barbarian tribes deserving of no support from anyone.

Strong message and strong points made, sometimes it is good to put things in context to reality. All too often the actions of a few are pushed by them and the media to be the gospel according to an idiot. Your voice preaches reality and should be heard my friend.

How many innocents should be death for the world's attention?
In 1944 all the world new of million liquidated in Russia, in Nazi Germany and Japan conquered territories, yet the world kept quite and silent.
Millions didn't wake outrage (we hadn't CNN then) but a measly 970 does? that innocent people 1.5 million of them wanted the butchers for government, they can't possible expect no retaliation when those butchers attack others and hide among them for use their deaths as a propaganda?
Now, how can one reconcile with the idea of blockade when the land has a free sea front of hundred and hundred of miles and a common border with his "brothers in faith"?
How we haven't heard of the Palestina Republic and Gaza Republic? after all they don't govern together, and Gaza masters are in Teheran.

I don't demonstrate for either side, for they are both guilty, but the original grievance is disguised in the most ideological verbage that mankind has ever used to justify itself, especially in that region, Isreal claims it's Gods land and so it's is theirs including all the settlements, I see no one demonstrating, of course either side is ideology driven , Isreal God is on our side, and because we fear him, my God do we fear him, especially these so called Christians, I think you've been reading the old Testament far too much, instead of the New One, "It" seems to be missing in this argument entirely, me seems to think, there was good reason "He" was born in that region, FOR IT NEEDS IT MOST, had both sides learned from his teachings just a little bit, including us, then the problems that excist there would have been adressed in this light, and solved long ago, and if you want to fear "His" wrath, you better remember first, HIS Sons wrath will be upon you first, for not following HIS teachings, You haven't followed them for a while, for you want to adress every war and grievance, like Dafur, or anywhere else, in the style, He had long Abandoned for a better one, but admit it, your skins on this earth are more important than doing that sacrifice that He had asked, Love your neighbour, even the ones you don't like, Stick this in your Pipe and smoke it, use it for incense or innocense, or just plain sense!!!!!!! There seems to be this repetitive cycle of groups created to fight a war that only creates more terror and loss of innocent lives, though we all know that the entire philosophy is made by these same people who also support the very ones who bring war upon them. They claim to fight for God and their claim to a land already recognized by the people living there. If you start a fight then you might expect that someone will fight back.

We learned in the villages of Vietnam that there are no innocents in a killing zone. Or I thought we learned. Mothers, children, dogs, brought death to us as we went after the enemy who was hiding in their homes. Same thing in Gaza City, in those Hamas neighborhoods, where Hamas is headquartered because the people there were/are friendly to Hamas and its terrorist agenda. Those people feed and house and support Hamas while Hamas loads more rockets and fires them into Israeli towns. Israel understands this simple thing because Israel has directly experienced killing zones many times, in many places where war was hell. This is a tough topic, Georg, which cannot be understood by anyone who has not known this hell up close and personal. Where are the so-called innocents?

It is a joke that Egypt is trying to broker a truce agreement when it is Egypt which is sending all the arms and rockets to Hamas through those Gaza City tunnels. And it is Egypt which is buying those rockets from China. And France (good friends with China) is working with Egypt to broker that "truce" agreement. And, while all this power-mongering is going on, Hamas continues to spout hateful nonsense while firing more rockets into Israeli towns.

Israel has nuclear capability. I think that Israel is showing a great amount of self-control by not turning Gaza City into glass.

I detest war and killing, just as much as I loathe the ideologies which produce killing and wars. But what we are seeing in Gaza City is a tough reality that only soldiers will understand.
