Thank you for writing this, not all religion is about God.
We must not always equate religion with the biblical perception of who God is, because some are cults and human beliefs formed in contradiction to what Jesus Christ taught. If ever they were
into the "Holy Spirit" as they allege, which I doubt, this would never happen. There was no mention of any place in particular for verification, so I rest my case.
I don't think Obama had anything to do with the way this culture/religion has been running that country, wherever it is.
"Religion" and corruption in other countries come from lack of education and poverty, giving birth to abuse, murder, violence.
This is a job for the UN, not for the US.
Lastly, the "Crusades" were done by the Catholic church, not by the Christian Church. Research will show the big difference between the two. To delineate TRUTH from ERROR, read the Bible.

As a non believer in organized religions I look with sadness on this write but also the crimes against humanity that have been carried out by all major religions over the years..including the genocide of the Crusade, the persecution and witch hunts, the outcasts of family members by some religions, and the list goes on and on...

To a true believer of God, a woman is a holy creation, created by him, here we go, have you noticed the mindset < HIM> by the creator.
All the scumbags that take up his, her, it's name for their own cause, and that includes organized religions are furthest from God Truth, and in this picture, and in the more subtle ones that Ted mentioned. Ed, and Ted, said it plentiful no need to repeat it.

Ed said it best: "Makes one sadly believe that organized religion may be a curse, not a blessing." When ideologies become so powerful that a leader can speak his abusive mandates in the name of God -- that ideology has already done non-repairable damage to its enslaved supporters. This ugliness may be more subtle in other religions, but all ideologies should be wiped out if possible, and certainly avoided at least.

Georg this is a shame but even today I can't help but feel even young children are put through hell when they are raped. I have always said I would never report a rape and be made felt as though I was the blame. I believe a woman goes through enough , I also realize there are innocent people accused of this crime. Damed if you do, damed if you don't.
