Archie Comics are an American cultural icon. Who hasn't loved the teenaged, freckle-faced Archie Andrews and his pals? In a day and age when our pop culture seems to be turning increasingly violent and risqué, it's nice to know some values and traditions haven't changed. I grew up reading Archie Comics, but I never grow tired of them. This 1999-2000 TV incarnation of Archie and the gang is a fun twist on the classic lore.

My "BRBTV Report" is a magazine-style feature-length story on the 1999 PAX-TV cartoon, featuring Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Dilton Doiley, Reggie Mantle and all those other lovable kids of Riverdale High ... You'll learn about the history of the show and little history on Archie Comics in general, and you'll see a detailed guide to all of the show's episodes, plus a list of credits and other fun stuff. For parents who have never seen the show, the synopses of each episode lists that episode's "message" or lesson. (Archie Comics are all about teaching values, after all!) There are already a few of the episodes available on video or DVD, and DiC Entertainment told me they expect to release the rest of the episodes in 2007. Archie Comics is a part of our pop culture to be valued for its positive message, so enjoy this report as you enjoy the show!
