If you want a miracle, you have to have a problem...

Here's something to think about!

IF YOU WANT A MIRACLE, YOU NEED TO HAVE A PROBLEM

“My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”  2 Corinthians 12:9

Do you feel inadequate? Are you burdened? Are you struggling with a deep hurt? 

If you answered yes to one or all of the above, congratulations!  You are the perfect candidate for God’s purpose: “My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

In a sermon I heard recently, the pastor said, “The Bible is full of miracles.  And do you know what the people had in common?  They all had problems!  You have to have a problem if you want a miracle.  If you don’t have a problem, you can’t have a miracle.”

So, do not despair. Take your problems to God and trust that He will do what is right for you, according to His will.  If you’re a parent, would you not love your children, and want the best for them?  Wouldn’t you be strong in their weakest moment? God isn’t any different.  You are His child.  In your weakness, He is made strong, because you have turned to Him.

I encourage you to get into His presence and talk it over with Him. Ask Him to help you with the problem. Be specific in what you ask. When you experience inner peace know that He has heard your cry. Just trust Him.

“Dear Father, as David said in Psalm 5: 3, ‘My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up,’ so I direct my prayer of thanks and praise to You.  Lord, I look to you for mercy and ask for strength to see the positives in my present situation.  In my heart I know that when I stumble, You will lift me up. I also know, Lord, that it is my trials that keep me looking up to You, with expectations for a miracle.  I thank you, Lord, for using me this way in order that others might see Your good work. Thank you in Jesus precious name, Amen.”

“… and the peace which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

PS If you don’t have a problem, and you want a miracle…then you’d better find a problem!
