This is an article on CyberShamanism and how the Internet can be used a tool of Enlightenment.

The 21st century has brought with it not only a New Age of Spirituality but a new kind of Shaman. The world wide web opens access to individuals around the globe, and the combination of Cyberspace and Shaman has created the Cybershaman.

I am a Cybershaman - a Shaman and Psychic who uses cyberspace to embrace the ‘Infinite Life Force’ and open others to a universe of beauty and light. The internet has afforded me the opportunity to bring my unique and treasured purpose to people around the world. On any given day I can offer wisdom and guidance to a housewife in Ireland, a healer in Brazil and a doctor in Japan. The web has become my personal altar where I can share teachings of the Spirit and explore its unlimited possibilities. My quest for meaning and heart is enhanced by constant access to people and information. The winds of life blow softly and I am guided across the seas of cyberspace to special places of mystery and beauty. Psychic Tymes and my involvement with them is a testament to how connected we all are and how we can celebrate life as a global community as we stroll through life’s orchard.

The song within my heart is one of healing and to that end I am a member of a number of distance healing groups. Healers of different modalities around the world use their special gifts and access their souls wisdom to help others navigate through life's challenges. We use our collective consciousness as we walk a path of truth and healing. An individual can email a request for a healing and within minutes practitioners throughout the planet are praying, smudging, dancing, singing, transmitting energy and more. Collectively we send out 'Sacred Healing Energy' to people and this is just one of the many ways a Cybershaman utilizes the internet in their quest.

Cyberspace can be a network of light and love, an enchanted garden where the articulation of thoughts and feelings can assist one in awakening their divine self. In previous issues of Psychic Tymes I have mentioned some of the sweet and precious souls I have had the pleasure to cross paths with in cyberspace. There are too many to mention here but I would remiss if I didn't mention but a few who are worthy of high regard - Dr. Gerri Leigh, Buffalo Bear Walks with Wolves, Kate Green, Shelley Buffitt, Michael Tomlinson, Isabella Kates, Nik Colyer and many more. Each one is a spiritually inclined soul and I am blessed for knowing them.

One of the other blessings afforded by the World Wide Web is the contact it gives the Shaman with media and the arts. I recently had the distinct pleasure of being interviewed by author Martha Jette for an upcoming book on the paranormal. I met Martha on the Internet and through email we came to the conclusion that I would be a good interview for her next book. Her recently published book – ‘Glimpses - True Stories of the Paranormal and Talking to My Angel’, is about childrens' experiences with angels. Martha is a vibrant voice who approaches every project with authentic loving harmony. As a Shaman Practitioner I try to learn something new from every individual I am blessed to meet. Martha has taught me to express my personal truth and colour outside the lines. She is a spiritual warrior who is refreshing and wonderful, a true ‘Earth Mother’.

Cyberspace gives Shamen the opportunity to explore perspectives, to share their wisdom, to seek knowledge within as we nourish the spirit and polish the soul. The internet has given me the resources to write for publications in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and more. It is the ability to access people worldwide that makes a Cybershaman a true visionary teacher. The web is a rainbow bridge by which a determined spirit can explore the mystical landscape.

I receive emails from unique and vital people every day thanking me for enhancing and enriching their lives. That is the greatest reward I could ever receive. The World Wide Web has allowed me to share a work that is meaningful as well as creating a clear path of artistic exploration and connection with the sacred. A Shaman in the 21st century has a great responsibility. It is the Shaman’s desire to be a conduit of light and love . I help people explore their inner landscapes thereby allowing them to have a better understanding of themselves. The internet is a lush garden, food for the soul that can foster a personal path of spiritual growth. The sea of Cyberspace is awash with waves of awareness. We are all ‘Light Beings’ in the making and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the precious souls I have been blessed to cross paths with in Cyberspace. I will continue to strive to find serenity while educating the sacred heart of humanity.

In closing let me say that a Cybershaman is dedicated to the greatest and highest good. It is my wish to uplift humanity, as well as inspiring people to celebrate the divine breath of life, I look forward to meeting each and every one of you in the celestial gathering place that is the World Wide Web.
