I truly love the fact that so many of our young people are moving closer to Jesus. However this new movement to vote for Jesus for President is something they need to clear their mind of.
The fact is Jesus has turned down the offer to rule this world. He is waiting on a new kingdom set up by the father. If you read in John 18, verse 36 or in Luke Chapter 4, verses 5 and 6 you know what I am saying.
Satan promised Christ total power over the world and Jesus turned him down. The Presidency of the United States would be no exception. When the father decides it is time there will be a new Heaven and a new earth. That is when Jesus will reign in all his glory. Until then he must reign in our hearts.
The world will go its own selfish way and this, except for the grace of God will lead to its destruction.
That is why, though I admire these young people for standing up for Christ I would pray they understand that his kingdom is not of this world but of a new world set up by the father. Give your heart to God through Jesus. The United States of America is a wonderful country but it has many flaws. The Kingdom Christ will preside over will be perfect.
