I checked on both of your two minute presentations and found them delightful. As far as the first one, I find that my dreams, and sometimes suggestions I get from various sources, lead me to a story that I just, have to write. I get fired up and write these stories quickly to conclusion. Hopefully with a beginning, middle and end. I don't have any trouble doing this and don't know what "writer's block is, having never experienced it. Some of my novels were not short stories and some of my novels have come out of chapters in other novels and from short stories that needed to be expanded for, "the rest of the story."

Haven't needed any "exercises," to get into the writing mode. And, while I have taken my time and devote very little of my day writing except to other authors here. I plug away a little bit at a time and eventually finish a book on no particular schedule. However, in 2014, I did hurry up and finish my autobiography, Hanging by a Thread I started writing in 1992, because I began to think that I might die before I finished it and the world would never know. They still don't. ;-)
