Political Satire
"One-to-One with John DeDakis" goes one-to-one with Mike Luckovich, the Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. His new book is The Twisted History of the GOP.
I'm only halfway through your video but I'm enjoying Mike as such a crazy genius when it comes to political cartoons that are right on as far as what I think about the buffoonery, especially in the Republican side of the political spectrum.
It was interesting about his procrastination and being late with his cartoons. I have a relative that sends me some of his cartoons. I don't send them on because they would alienate about half of my regular followers of humorous material. I really like the way he handles those who hate him. I get some of that heat, too. But when the king has no clothes, someone has to speak up and say it or all those afraid of losing their heads will continue to rave about his finery that doesn't exist.
The Republican Party has twisted and turned, so I believe his book is very apropos. And sadly, funny.
