A kite is never free.
It is bound to earth by the person who holds it's string...
Drifting through some mortal's sleep
Like a star in the night
Eyes ablaze with Qadosh heat
And God's immortal light
Descending to the deeper deep
To soar above a higher height
I wandered straying like a sheep
And lonely as a kite...

A kite can only fly as hign as the person holding the string allows it too. We have the freedom through our love for Jesus to fly without strings, to soar above the clouds, to go as high or as low as we allow ourselves to go. Kites are lonely for they are only paper, we are never lonely for we always have a Father to confide in and talk too.
