Dracula Haunts Hollywood!

Bela Lugosi was born Oct. 20, 1882, a Hungarian actor who was best known for his betrayal of Count Dracula. He played Count Dracula on Broadway and on film in the Bram Stoker’s classic. He died of a heart attack at his home in Los Angeles on August 16, 1959 at the age of seventy-three. Per the request of his wife and son, Bela Lugosi was buried wearing one of the capes from the Dracula stage play.

Bela Lugosi frequented Boardners Bar. Perhaps he’ll join you for a drink!
