The Manson murders are the most horrific crimes of the century!

Rosemary and Leno LaBianca returned to LA from their weekend away on August 10th. (They headed home early to beat the Sunday traffic.)  They stopped off at the Chevron Station on Hillhurst for a fill up.  They bought a newspaper and Rosemary had commented on the front-page story about the Tate murders the night before.  She was spooked over the horrible murders so close to home.  John Fokianos was the last to see them alive.

Charles Manson climbed into the back window of the LaBianca house.  He found Leno dozing in the living room.  Manson woke and tied his hands behind his back with a leather string.  Rosemary was in the bedroom. Manson didn’t stay but left Tex and the others to do his dirty work.  According to Tex, he put a pillowcase over Leno’s head and tied a lamp cord around his skull and mouth.  He did the same to Rosemary.  Tex stabbed Leno 26 times.  Rosemary tried to escape and blindly swung the lamp around the bedroom.  Tex in the end got her and stabbed her 41 times.  He made Leslie(one of the Manson girls) stab Rosemary 16 more time in the lower back.  At the time, Leslie was unaware that Rosemary was already dead.
