The moon has been called inconstant, due to its tendency to wax and wane. The Latin word for moon comes even into our own language to designate lunacy. In the folk rhyme, "Monday's child is fair of face". The Boomtown Rats have a famous song called "I Don't Like Mondays". Through the movie Office Space the quote "Someone is having a case of the Mondays!" entered the pop culture lexicon. In the Garfield Comics and Shows, one of the things Garfield hates is Monday.
