Hey Folks,

Anyone needing help with homework or projects please let me know.  Teachers out there feel free to drop me a line. I can help with the following.  (And no there is no charge, I'm just trying to give back a bit to the country that has given me so much.)

15. Influence of Sailors in everyday life. Here's a little example. Prior to and during the Civil War, Sailors for the most part could not read, much less do mathmatics. What they could do though was drink.  When they walked into a bar the Sailor would make his mark on a chaulk board or bit of paper stuck to the wall.  When he ordered his drink it was served in either Pints or Quarts.  The bar tender would place a P or a Q next to his mark.  If the Sailor got drunk and cause trouble the bar tender would warn him to "Watch his Ps and Qs."  There are hundreds of examples like that.  You should hear where "Son-Of-A-Gun" comes from!
