This is the first book I've read in the Jack Reacher series and I have to say I find Jack Reacher to be one tough dude. There's something appealing about this tough guy who never stays in the same place for more than a few days and wears his clothes until they aren't fit for the climate or fit to be worn, then buys another set. Reacher is a smart investigator who's confidant in his ability to take on the bad guys, and I find his slightly eccentric nature refreshing.
