An on going tale of how poor illegal immigrants will have to pay more tuition fees at State run colleges.

     "A new Arizona law triples tuition for college students who are illegal immigrants, forcing many of them to scramble to find private scholarships that don't require Social Security numbers, proof of legal residency or citizenship.
     Some of the affected students say they will try to raise money from businesses and nonprofits as the spring semester approaches.
     But with classes two weeks away, some of those students fear they will be priced out of college. Others worry they will have to move to Mexico to attend school."

     Okay, so what is wrong with this picture? How many of our children who apply for college entrance every year are turned away? How many of the legal immigrants who are in our country and apply for entrance into a college are turned away? Oh, it gets better.
     The article goes on to say, "the statute (new law of Arizona) requires illegal immigrants to pay out-of-stte- tuition at the state's public universities and colleges, prohibits students from receiving any type of financial assistance that is funded with state money and requires schools to report how many illegal immigrants are attending their schools."
      If we know who they are and where they are, then why are we not rounding them up and returning them signed, sealed and delivered? Maybe it is me, am I missing something here?
      I will be curious to find out how many other states will follow the example of Arizona.  How long will it take them?
      A good friend of many years has two nephews and a niece who have been trying, through legal means to live and work in this country. The oldest nephew has been trying for seventeen, yes seventeen years and has all but given up. Maybe he should take a plane to Mexico! He might have an easier time getting in, right?
     I have heard over the past few days that we are going to be required to have documentation and passports to enter Mexico and Canada. Why? They don't! Again, am I missing something here?
