God surprised us with a light gentle snow this afternoon!!!!

Well, the day began on the gloomy side. My kitties and I were off to a slow, sluggish start. It was raining out and oh well, what can you do. Beginning where I do every morning, taking care of my kitties first. Cleaned the litter box, swept the floor for scattered litter remains and refilled all their water dishes.
Now it was time to walk around and gather up all of the toys they played with during the night. They still have not learned how to put their toys away when they are finished playing with them.
Okay, kitties are taken care of, now it is time to clean the bird cages for Herculana and Zues. This is always a fun chore because for some strange reason my three kitties are always willing to offer their assistance!
Herculana does not seem to mind at all, but Zues tries to hide in a corner. Guess he thinks we cannot see him.
Once their cages are cleaned I can sit on the floor and play with my kitties for a little while until either they or I tire of the exercise. While I was playing with Cassie and Alex, Cherokee walked over and sat by Herculana's cage. She was up on her top perch and in an instant she flew right down to the bottom of the cage where Cherokee was.
The next ten or fifteen minutes was one of the most interesting interactions I have observed yet. Cherokee and Herculana were talking and interacting with each other. Cherokee placed her front right paw on the base of the table the cage sits on and Herculana was holding on to the bars sort of straddling the cage.
Interesting to watch as it was, I knew it was time to get dressed and get that pot of coffee on. Alex walked off to take a short nap on the sofa, Cassie jumped up on one of the kitchen chairs under the table. Cherokee went into the spare bedroom (which is now officially the cats room), climbed on the bed, curled up and went to sleep.
Okay, now I could have my coffee and get dressed for the day. I had wanted to get some accounting work done, but it was just not to be.  Kept myself busy first by spending some time with my needlepoint, then I took out my crocheting. Should have left it in the closet where I had it because Alex came running over as if being pulled by a magnet. She jumped right into the box with the yarn balls and made herself at home playing with it. Cassie walked over in her usual style climbed up onto the blanket I am making and made herself at home.
I gave Alex a yarn ball to play with and let Cassie stay where she was. I just knew I was not going to get to crochet the blanket today. Time began to pass and I did not hear the rain hitting the house anymore. What a mistake I made. I walked over to the living room window and looked out to see if it had really stopped. If it did I could finally get some work accomplished, or so I thought.
Here comes Alex sliding across the floors because if I dare move to far she get upset. She flies into the window and hits her head on the glass because she forgot to stop in time. Thud! The next thing I hear is her muffled little sounds she makes when she sees something. Yip, yip, yip, yip!
Okay, now I could finally look out the window to see if the rain had stopped. It stopped, but now it was snowing!!!!!!!!! By this time she was bouncing between the living room window and the kitchen windows. This caught Cassie's attention, now she wants to know what is going on. Now, the two kitties are running through the house like someone lit their tails on fire.
Yes, you guessed it! Here comes Cherokee! By now there is so much commotion I just knew Robert was going to wake up. Not good. He sleeps during the day because he works the midnight shift. Oh boy!! Now what do I do. They are all excited, wanting to chase these funny white things falling down in front of them.
I thought about it for a few minutes, then I decided the best thing to do to keep the peace, ha, ha, was to go out in the backyard. While they wree all running from window to window I went out back into our RV and turned on the gas to heat it up. It is not a very big RV, but big enough where it took the better part of an hour to get it warm enough to bring the kitties out.
When I came back in, I picked up some CD's (Doors, Dylan, Roy Buchanan, David Bromberg and David Bowie), made a fresh pot of coffee and brought that into the RV. Well, I wanted something to keep busy too!!Came back in, picked up some food, water, toys and treats for my little angels and brought that in. Okay, now I was ready to bring them into the RV. I set up their travel cages and wrapped each of them up in a warm blanket and one cage at a time brought them into the camper, which was toasty warm by now.
Now, the four of us are in the camper. I let each of them out of their cages and they could make all the noise they want. There are plenty of windows to look out of and I could sit down and relax. Gee, that sure seemed like a lot of work for a few snow flakes that made my kitties go crazy over.
I put a "Doors" CD in the player, poured myself a cup of coffee and was thinking now I did not have to worry that we were going to wake Robert up. The kitties were playing and having fun trying to chase the snow flakes and I walked over to the sofa and made myself comfortable. At last, I could drink my coffee and listen to a little music while my angels played. Most important of all, we would not run the risk of waking Robert up.
Now, I was finally sitting back on the sofa, sipping on my coffee and relaxing. Drank about half a cup of my coffee and the door to the RV opens! It was Robert, he was looking around the house for me. I just looked at him and could not imagine how he could possibly hear any of the noise that we were making. I did not even have the music all that loud! He simply said he could not sleep.
I looked at him and simply said,  I DID ALL THIS TO KEEP THE HOUSE QUIET AND YOU CAN'T SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I walked over to the kitchen cabinet, took down a coffee cup and poured him a cup of coffee. There we sat, all five of us. Watching the snow fall, from inside our RV, in the driveway. I am totally convinced that our neighbors swear we are totally insane after this.
We all stayed in our RV, on the driveway, for a few hours before going back into the house. He finally was able to get some sleep and he left for work a short time ago.
Me, I put another "Doors" CD in my player. Guess I am into the Doors today and thought before I forget all that occurred today, I would share it.
