How will "Faux News" spin this? And, worse yet, how will the families of these dead heroes deal with the tragic and unnecessary deaths of their family members?
At least, unlike Iraq, there was a legitimate reason to invade Afghanistan. But a complete failure in planning and execution of BOTH wars falls directly on the Neo-Con monsters who control the Executive Branch.
The "Surge" is having some positive effect on the short-term situation in Baghdad but our country can't maintain the additional forces deployed there for much longer. And that doesn't even take into consideration the horrible consequences of the PTSD and other afflictions which will be the result of this administration's actions. America will have to deal with the incompetence, arrogance and greed of this president for a generation!
George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and the rest of the Neo-Cons who manipulated and lied this country into this quagmire in Iraq should be held accountable for what they've done.
We haven't had a real war since World War II. Real wars end. When it's over, all of the bad guys and their supporters are dead. You don't see people running around Berlin and Tokoyo with AK47's, RPGs and setting off car bombs, do you? Somehow we decided that we're so strong, we can fight nice wars were only the bad guys get hurt. War is a horrible nightmare and it should be avoided at almost all costs. But if there is no other choice, you have to do whatever it takes to win, that's what those people who killing our brave soldiers are doing. They're planning on winning, and they ain't a bit wooried about what people might say about them. There are only two out comes in war, victory and defeat. It you're not doing what it takes to be the victors, then you are certainly going to be the defeated.
Remember, George Bush was elected to office for two four year terms. “We the people” did take our country back; we took it back from the Democrat machine.
The only war a Democrat is willing to wage is one against the unborn. The Democrat party promotes abortion and the killing of over one in every four children conceived in America every year. More American children are killed by abortion in one year that were killed in all of America’s wars combined.
Now the Democrats are trying to set up embryonic stem cell research death camps throughout America. They are paying “brood mothers” on collage campuses to take drugs and mass produce eggs in order to form ghoulish experiment on the fertilized eggs. All in the name of a failed science that has not produced one single health cure in over twenty years of experiments.
You peace mongers took over the liberal media for over a year and complained that the war wasn’t going fast enough for you. Now that the pace of the war has increased and our military is stopping the enemy you complain that there is an increase in casualties. You peace mongers are responsible for more deaths then any Neo-Con. And by the way a Neo-Con was just former Democrat who realizes that the Democrat party would do nothing to save America from its enemies.
George Bush does have a problem by promoting a one world government. Other then that, I believe that he is the best president America has had in my lifetime.
My American brothers and sisters - take your country back for the good of the entire planet. Never in my life have I seen a great country so despoiled and betrayed by its leaders as yours.

I sadly think far longer than that, my friend. Besides dragging us into this never ending war, and not even bothering to go after the Mastermind behind 9/11, his is, by far, the worst Environmental administration this country has ever seen, just when we needed the best one we've ever had.
And our gross neglect of the many serious environmental issues facing the world today, including the ever decreasing supplies of fresh water, will haunt many generations to come.
We should have 'taken back' our country long ago, and now, I truly wonder if it's already too late.
