The day of your salvation was a day to remember. The joy that you were filled with overwhelmed your mind and soul. The “peace that passeth all understanding” removed every worry and every care. (Phil. 4:7). Jesus was first and foremost in your heart, on your mind, and in your mouth. You could not stop talking about the experience. Do you remember? How could you forget? When is the last time that you took a good look in the mirror at your face, at your countenance? “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me?” (Psalm 43: 5a). The road of salvation has many sticks, stones, bumps, and even potholes, but it is a great journey that is an adventure with God.

            Even if you took time to look around at the people of God, the Believers, their faces tell everything. It will seep through even for those who wear a mask. In the house of God, the meeting place, where is the joy? Some come with no expectation, only focused on the duty. It is great to be committed to the duty of position, but is the joy of the Lord in your performance of activity? Are you glad to be where you are?

The enemy will even speak against your performance. He speaks and brings railing accusations against everything concerning you. Remember that is his job. He speaks contrary to the word of God as a part of his scheme and plan to undermine and frustrate you. “And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saint of the Most High, and think to change times and laws.” (Daniel 7:25). You must be armed and dangerous because of the tactics of delay and frustration that have been implemented against you to wear you out prior to your breakthrough that is on God’s schedule. The enemy does not want you to hit the mark, therefore you will miss you moment which was predestined. He wants to change your time and the laws of God.

            Many of us have received the gospel. We have received the knowledge of the good news of the kingdom and its operating procedures. “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” (Psalm 119:130). We need to turn on the light. The Word has entered into and changed our hearts and we understand who we are, the sons of God; and where we are, seated in heavenly places. The question is do we really know and exercise this? This knowledge of our eternal position should change our perception of the temporal condition providing the edge over the enemy. This knowledge, this gospel, is hid from those who are lost. They are not connected or reconciled back to God. How can this be? The god of this world has blinded those who have not received and do not believe the gospel, the good news. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). Have the temporal circumstances of this world blinded the Believer to the point that we no longer believer in the power of God, but in the wisdom of man? Did we forget that “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein?” (Psalm 24:1).

The enemy meets and performs his job description, to steal, kill, and destroy. He sets up deception and impersonation. He has contaminated with perversion of sight to come in like a flood. This is the time of the reversal. Give him the pink slip. Fire him. Overrule, overthrow, overturn, overtake, overcome, overwhelm, and overflow with the power of God that resides on the inside of you.

 The standard of the Lord is lifted high against him. The standard of the Lord is the established emblem of absolute power and authority. “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee.” (Isaiah 43:1-2).

Now is the time for the flood of the Holy Spirit. Hunger, thirst, and seek after Him if you feel that you are alone in a desert place. Can you even imagine what He will pour out upon you? “For I will pour water out upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground, I will pour out my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thy offspring.” (Isaiah 44:3) What revelation awaits you? What mysteries would He impart? Are you in position to receive?

Seek the scent of His presence. Inhale the odor of His fragrance with expectation. He is closer that you can even imagine. He is waiting for you. Those dreams and seasons that you think have passed you by because of time, are lying dormant. Reach and stretch your faith to call the word that He has spoken over you back into your present. The atmospheric conditions are ripe with anticipation for the one drop that will resurrect, restore, and replenish.
