Prayer is the communication in our relationship with God that allows us to express the innermost thoughts and feelings, even though the omnipotent one already knows everything about us. Through prayer, we develop a more intimate relationship with God as we utter those words while we are seeking Him with sincerity, There are different types of prayer such as the prayer of agreement, (Matthew 18:18-20), the prayer of faith (Matthew 21:22), and intercessory prayer to name a few. People pray kneeling, standing, sitting, and even lying in prostrate on the floor. Regardless of the type or position, it is the purpose, though and action of seeking Him.

            Prayer is that meeting place for the creation to tabernacle with the Creator. It is that place where on has total personal and intimate access to the Father. The reality is that we are in position for this connection at all times. But it is only when we settle ourselves from too many earthly voices and tune into the clear channel of the throne room that our level of intimacy for God arises.

            While seeking Him and stealing away into His presence, He whispers secrets into our ears. There are also times when we just need to “be still and know that He is God.” (Psalm 46:10). It is in this stillness and quietness that we are strengthened. When the Master of the universe speaks, we are in awe of His presence. At those times nothing can be said, it is on the existence of being there caught up in His arms. Now that He has your complete attention and your ears to listen, He can reveal more of Himself to you in a way that you cannot even imagine or comprehend. “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” (Deuteronomy 29:29). There are many things that can and will be revealed for not only your trust, but for you to pray through to the manifestation.

            God’s network, His system of channels in the Body of Christ allows the broadcast and distribution of the exchange of information to establish His word. A simple example is during your prayer time where you live, maybe California; He whispers a country in your ear for across the globe – china. You began to pray earnestly and fervently for china as you are led. Are you aware that you are not only person on the planet praying for China on this particular day and this particular time? What about the mutilated one with limbs lost in the Sudan? Have their cries reached the throne room so that God whispers to you? How many in far away and distant locations have felt the prick in their heart to intercede fro those enduing such tragedies? The Spirit of God hovers seeking vessels He can use. “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” (II Chronicles 16:9). He needs you now to speak His words (containers of power), to decree and declare those things that will be established. (Job 22:28). Prayer releases the ability of God in the earth realm for the manifestation and evidence of His power.

            Where are your words of prayer going in the atmosphere? Do you know or have you even thought about where your words end up? Is there a place just for the millions of words that have been uttered, good or bad? Is it possible that those words, which are junk, end up in a junk pile just like cars?

            “And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.” (Revelation 5:8). This book called Revelation is at the end of the Bible and reveals much through interpretation of symbols and signs. The vials are bowls full of odors, which are many types of prayers. The question is, are they fervent, intimate, and effective? What type of words are in these bowls? Are the words His word divinely given by inspiration that will not return unto Him void? (Isaiah 55:11). “And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.” (Revelation 8:3).

            There has been an invitation extended to you to be entrusted with secrets that need to be given an audible sound on earth that will also be a sound in heaven creating the atmosphere for manifestation. Now that you have been called into a deeper more intimate place, and given special audience for the words that you have spoken have pierced heaven entering the throne room, what will you say? Wait, watch, and listen.

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” (Psalm 19:14).
