Vision is the ability to see and have mental imagery beyond the present state of being. The Spirit of the living God is dwelling on the inside of the Believer through the experience of being born again in the spirit.  This experience includes the possession of supernatural attributes that are beyond our mental capacities because the spirit is renewed and not the mind. 

The natural mind is in an impoverished state because of the fall of Adam which limited experiences to the natural realm. As recreated spiritual beings, we are called to be and are elevated to operate beyond the natural limitation of the world. There are certain elements in our spirit that are waiting to be manifested, but the mind is limited in processing the imagery for manifestation. Meditation and studying the Word of God elevates the natural mind so that we have access and insight to Kingdom mysteries such as the ones illustrated in the parables of Jesus.

The Parable of the Ten Minas in Luke 19:11-27, is a story about investment. It is sometimes compared to the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30. The general thought concerning these two parables is one of the aspects of financial gain. Thinking in terms of investment, have you ever wondered what God has invested and deposited in you a Believer? Your born again experience was not only for salvation, but there is purpose and a plan for the Kingdom.

Meditating on this parable, my thought was what if the Master gave his servants ten different ideas? An idea, a thought, an impression or concept that would produce a plan of action that is far more valuable than money.  The instruction of the Master to the servants was to use what He had given to occupy until he came back. To occupy is to seize, to control or take possession of. What are we as Believers to seize for the Kingdom? There are too many to name them all, but we must start now.

The Body of Christ is under enemy occupation in our minds. The enemy has distorted and distracted our focus to the financial realm, so that we are not in position to receive and implement Kingdom ideas. The operation of Kingdom ideas working in the earth realm would produce an effect which is winning more souls for Christ. The enemy, prince of the power of the air, works continuously creating atmospheres that produces for his kingdom. (Ephesians 2:2). In verse 14, the citizens of the country sent a message to the Master saying that they did not want the Master to rule over them. Even though they rejected his ruler ship, the servants must have interacted with them in some way for the increase to manifest. Regardless of their initial position, they were used in some way in His Kingdom and as a result his ruler ship was extended over them.

This is one of the primary reasons that the enemy wages war against our minds through thoughts. He wants to keep you from receiving that idea that would change the mindset of those in the world. Instead, the counterfeit is given to the children of his world.  For instance, look at the Harry Potter books which focus on magic and witchcraft that were used to seduce children at an early age. Those same children grew up to be seduced as teenagers with the Twilight vampire phenomenon. Have you ever asked the Lord for a divine idea that would change the world? Ask for something that is remarkable and extraordinary that would damage the enemy’s kingdom and enlighten and transform those held in darkness into the light of God’s glorious son. Everything that we see God created from His thoughts with the Holy Spirit as His construction manager.

As the parable continues, the Master returns to review the progress of his investment that was given to his servants. The first servant has increased ten-fold. That servant took one original divine idea and through insight and revelation increased to ten different ideas that were an extension of the original idea. The reward was authority over ten cities. He was given regional territorial authority for the ideas invade and make a change. If the servant could increase the one to ten with no territory, just imagine what he will do now with the authority that has been given.

Thinking on this, one would now understand why the enemy does not want you to receive and possess divine ideas that produce results for the Kingdom. Because the increase of the idea takes territory in the mind of others from him! The servant with the five had the same reward. But what about the servant who had one just like the others and hid it? In the scripture, he stated that he feared the Master because of the way the Master conducted business. The word fear is an indication that the enemy came against the servant’s mind with false evidence appearing real. Why was the servant the only one out of the ten? Did the other seven follow him or did they produce for the kingdom? As they stood by and watched the Master told them to take from this servant and give to the one who had the ten fold increase. Are we standing by and watching?

If God has given you a divine idea that will greatly work for the Kingdom, don’t allow the enemy to stop you with focusing on the natural. Everything that is needed is contained in the seed which becomes the thought. Your faith is the catalyst for increase. Now that you are in the image of the Creator, the enemy fears your ability to create, just like the Father. The plan is for you, a chosen vessel, to do the work, but if you will not, He will find another willing vessel.  God is a spirit and He needs His spirit filled bodies on the earth to communicate His plans. Are you available? Also if you do not understand the wonder of it all, pray. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Helper, who leads and guides us into all truth.  “Heavenly Father, I pray thee, if I have found grace and favor in your sight, and you are pleased with me to entrust me with your heavenly vision to manifest on the earth, show me your way. Teach me that I may know your way, that I may become more deeply and intimately acquainted with you to understand more fully, to recognize and perceive your truth.”  (Exodus 33:13).

“A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them. If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward.” (Matthew 24:45-46 NLT)
