On any given Sunday you can hear the sound of musical instruments in the atmosphere before you enter into the sanctuary. The sounds of distinction of an organ, the drums, a guitar, or even a horn blast blending into a harmonic sound with the voices of the congregation riding on the top of the sound. The choir may give sound to the words that were selected in rehearsal, but there is a deep sound in the heart of the Believer that must come out. There is a worship that will no longer be held back as the glory of God descends and covers the earth.

          Your heart is an instrument that God wants to hear. Recently, in a Friday night service, I had an experience where I could not get past singing songs with the word ‘Hallelujah’ in it which lead to exalted praise  and worship of  ‘Hallelujah.’ By Sunday, I still could not get the ‘Hallelujah’ out of my spirit. Even after praise and worship the flow in my spirit was still intense. It was just a time that all I wanted to say and all I knew to say was Hallelujah. It did not matter what was happening or what did not happen, I had a Hallelujah that the enemy could not suppress. The river was bubbling and there was a bursting flow.

God responds to what comes out of our heart. He inhales the worship and exhales His glory. Our worship indicates our intimacy with Him. The level of your worship is to the degree of your revelation of Him. Where your revelation stops is where your worship ends. We must be in continual revelation of who God is, simply because He is God and we cannot even begin to know and understand everything about the Creator. He allows us to receive what we can handle.

These are the days of the sound of the heart. The heart must worship. It is not rehearsed. It is spontaneous. It bursts forth with a cry to the heavens reaching the throne room. Even those in the music industry, who are not in right relationship with the Lord, will be rejected by the masses because of their sound. It is a sound of the flesh which the flesh responds to. It is the heart that carries the sound of the Lord, the heart only. It is not about the mind, but the heart. The heart of the true worshippers will be flooded to the overflow by the Spirit of the Lord, because He desires the heart of His people.

Worship takes you into another realm of revelation. The intensity and depth of your revelation is the intensity and depth of your worship. Worship bridges the gap that is between. There are those in the gospel industry whose hearts will be changed every time that they sing the song that the Lord has given them to raise up out of obscurity. The sound of the heart will be the sound. New songs of the heart are coming forth that will bring many to the Lord. For it is a set time of release. Their hearts will hear the sound, which will turn them to the Lord.

There is a mixture in the sound in the earth. It appears that there is a shifting in the atmosphere connecting the heavens. But the heavens are not open for the glory of God to come and move in the atmosphere. Many think that they have invented a ‘sound.’ It is a false representation of His Spirit that is contaminated because they did not seek Him, but sought the fame, and the glory, which belongs to adversary. It was contaminated from the start because of the position of the heart. Those who are singing now will have to be in a place to receive the new songs from the Lord, which will start a new movement. The others will be left in the flesh and not have the power, the anointing to touch and change hearts in the move of God that has begun.

When you are filled with the Spirit, you are empowered to speak to each other in the soulful words of pious songs, hymns, and spiritual songs; to sing and make music with your hearts attuned to God; and to give thanks to God the Father every day through the name of our Lord Jesus the Anointed for all He has done. (Ephesians 5:19-20- The Voice)
