“For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” (Luke 12:48). A season of a strict watch is on the horizon for the members of the Body of Christ. This watch will have an arena of two sides, heaven and hell. All eyes and ears will be on you to determine who you really are. The test will examine if you have the knowledge of your position and the power that goes with it.

          It is a day that much will be revealed and entrusted. God does nothing without revealing it first to his servants. (Amos 3:7). It is in communion with Him that trust evolves because of the relationship. It is your trust, obedience, and knowing of His absolute power and authority that ushers you into a place where His thoughts and plans, past present and eternal are revealed. Can you imagine capturing one of His thoughts in your mind and meditating on it attempting to reach His fullest extent, not yours? The revelation that you capture would only be that which your mind could comprehend, after He has elevated your mindset. Revelations of this type are far beyond human comprehension and can only be understood in the realm of the spirit from which one cannot even speak it.  In 2 Corinthians 12:1-4, Paul describes being caught up into the third heaven having an encounter that he could not even mention for fourteen years. Many are picked out from the foundation of the world by the sovereign God for the unusual and extraordinary to be under His peculiar, private, jealous watch.

          As you are a chosen and peculiar vessel, there is a strict watch upon your every action and inaction. Others may be able to do things that you cannot even imagine trying, because of the conviction of the Holy Spirit that will deal with you. People will do and say many things that the jealous love and intimate relationship of the Father will simply not allow for your life.

          Your conduct and conversation are under observation daily. Practice His presence and you will began to not only reverence Him even the more, but know and be in awe that He is with you and sees everything that is going on. Of course we know and speak that He does, but to practice His presence and until you began to really feel His  tangible presence is totally different.

          When is the last time you checked the effects of your words in the sphere of your surroundings knowing that He is listening? Does what comes out of your mouth exhort, edify, or comfort anyone? Can you be a blessing by speaking the right words at the right time to those in positions above you or at any level? Remember what happened with Mary and Elisabeth when they greeted each other in Luke 1:40-45. When Elisabeth heard the words from Mary’s mouth, the babe leaped in her womb. As a result, Elisabeth spoke in a loud voice to decree and declare who Mary was and the blessing she was carrying in her womb. Elisabeth said as soon as she heard her voice, her babe leaped in her womb. Are your words effective in causing someone to be encouraged or discouraged? Does your speech exemplify the effect of the Holy Spirit resulting in wise conduct, or has the seal been broken, and you are leaking?

          This is a time of choosing your words wisely even in everyday conversation. “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the Holy Spirit, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” (Ephesians 4:29-30). Corrupt communication comes from the corrupt heart of the one speaking and as a result corrupts the minds and hearts of those who around the speaker. Be careful and mindful of the words not only that you speak, but the ones that you hear also. For example, a person who murmurs and complains constantly is some one who is hindering the word of God and the move of the Spirit. Murmuring and complaining keeps you in the wilderness. Remember what happened to Israel when they came out of Egypt. They had to wander for forty years. As a Believer, when you murmur and complain, you are saying that the sovereign God lacks the power and provide and opening for the enemy to work with the words that come out of your mouth. “Do all things without murmurings and disputings.” (Philippians 2:14).

          Recognize that the strict watch involves the testing of our total being. If it begins with the mouth, it is really focused on the heart, the mind, and the ears as well. Settle it. You are drawn into a life of obedience and will not be allowed to say or do what other Believers can get away with. From your view, you may become distressed because you feel they have not experienced the strict watch under the eye of the Holy Spirit. Face the fact that God has much entrusted and invested in you. He made a down payment through the blood of Jesus Christ. It is time for the return on the investment.

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.”

(Ephesians 1:13 KJV).

 ^“In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.”
