During a recent early morning conversation with my son, as I was sharing words of encouragement, there was a download from the throne room that set the course for an indescribable day. One of the expressions that I share at the end of a conversation is ‘have a great day.’ In fact I have been teased about it at various times. But on this particular day, the word ‘great’ meant something different. The heavens opened up for a divine revelation.

            I asked my son how he was doing. He replied that he was a little tired. At that moment I realized that he had made that statement to me on more than one occasion in the morning recently. Immediately I said that it was a great day and that he needed to keep the word ‘great’ in his day so that he could create ‘great’ day. Instantly I was enlightened by the Holy Spirit and I knew that there was an anointing on those words and I was ready to write. My tongue had become the pen of a ready writer.

            The words of power are in our mouths to create. Keeping the word ‘great’ in your day so that you can create a great day opens doors for the greatness of God that is within to manifest.  A great day is a day that is unusual or considerable in degree, power or intensity. It is notable, remarkable, exceptionally outstanding, immensely wonderful and extremely excellent. So I declared and decreed that it was a great day for me and that I expected great to manifest and be visibly evident in every area of my life that day.

            Later that day, I was sharing the experience with a friend who was celebrating her birthday. Because of the flow of the anointing, she became excited about her day beyond the fact that it was her birthday.  At one point during the conversation, she inquired about hearing when God speaks. I informed her that God speaks in many ways and He definitely still speaks, contrary to the opinion of many. “The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27 AMP). Intimacy positions you and opens your ears to hear what is on the heart of the Lord.

            The next conversation was with an evangelist who had survived the World Trade Center catastrophe in 2001. Her testimony of the leading of the Holy Spirit to position her to survive and for recompense was great or should I say intensely remarkable. Now, the key to this is I have not seen her or spoken to her, but met her once over ten years ago.  Even the divine connection to speak to her on that day was notable. I informed her that her testimony and the whole day was immensely wonderful as it was a manifestation of the ‘great’ in my day.

            The next conversation was the one that elevated my revelation. Please keep in mind that what started out as a correction with my son continue to elevate with each conversation. This particular conversation was the pinnacle moment of the day. Continuing to share each moment that had previously occurred, there was an excitement escalating. I guess you would say that the word ‘great’ was the main topic of the day to be shared.

            As I was sharing the previous experiences with the man of God, he was listening intensely. At one point, he said that he heard a word in his spirit that he needed to share with me. He said that he heard the word extraordinary. At that moment, the light burned brighter with an awesome revelation for me. I had been speaking the word ‘great’ all day to people who were Believers, but only one answered from the spirit. The Greater one who lives on the inside spoke back to me. Believers quote that the Greater One lives on the inside, but He not only lives, he speaks! “Little children, you are of God, you belong to Him and have already defeated and overcome them, the agents of the antichrist, because He Who lives in you is greater, mightier than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4 AMP).

            The day had been one of a constant flow of the Spirit moving and ushering into increased revelation. The wells were springing. The door had opened and all I had to do was step across the threshold. A mystery was designed to be unveiled because “the entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding, discernment and comprehension to the simple.” (Psalm 119:130 AMP). As the dawn of every day appears, the Father desires to enlighten us through His Word for the deep hidden secrets thing to be made simple for our understanding. They have been hidden until the time that has been ordained for revelation, which includes the process of growth in Him. It is time to desire an upgrade of our thoughts so that we can receive and meditate on the awesome wonder of our God. He has given us the mind of Christ and it is time that we assume, maintain, and operate in the position that we were designed for.

 ” He who believes in Me who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow continuously springs and rivers of living water.”  (John 7:38 AMP).

“It is the Spirit Who gives life, He is the Life-giver; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever, there is no profit in it. The words, truths that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.” (John 6:63 AMP)
