Recently, I have been having encounters with words that I can only simply describe as the Spirit speaking. The Holy Spirit speaks in many ways, but we must be on the correct frequency in the spirit to discern and receive the revelation released. There were two encounters that led me to write this article that I am still meditating on.

          The first word was NEXT. Every day when we use our computers, we may encounter a program that requires that we follow instructions and we have to click on the word NEXT.  I had clicked on NEXT so much that I began to get a little frustrated. But there is one thing that I believe and that is ‘nothing just happens.’ So, I took this as a SELAH moment.

          Clicking on NEXT moved me to the position that immediately followed where I was previously. I began to wonder ‘am I ready for the NEXT move of God? Have I even totally submitted myself to be prepared? NEXT is the NEW. “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.” (Isaiah 42:9 AMPC). NEXT leads into the new, a place where I have never experienced, but leads me towards the goal, the end result. I have to keep going through the NEXT because I am in the dimension of time and with each step of faith I am being changed from glory to glory.

          After Thanksgiving I was driving home from a high spiritual encounter that had just occurred before I got on the road. In this encounter I experienced the Holy Spirit like never before with uncontrollable laughter coming through the heavenly language, tongues. During the drive back home, I am mediating on what just happened because nothing just happens. A truck pulls in front of me with the words written in as if by hand, NO LIMITS.  About an hour later, I am searching through stations on the radio and tune in to a gospel station and hear the announcer say ‘DON’T DO THE MATH ON YOUR MIRACLE.’ 

          Our God is so awesome, amazing that we are astonished because of His mighty power. We are so used to the natural that when the SUPERNATURAL occurs we are amazed simply because of the fact that all we have ever experienced is the natural.  “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10 KJV). 

“My intentions are not always yours, and I do not go about things as you do.   My thoughts and My ways are above and beyond you, just as heaven is far from your reach here on earth.” (Isaiah 55:8-9 The Voice). How can the analytical thought of man receive anything from the spirit? God knows our thoughts before we even think them. I am taking the wonder of the how out of whatever God is doing in the NEXT NEW thing! GOD speaks however and wherever HE wants, we just have to be tuned into HIS frequency! Let the invasion from heaven begin NOW! Nothing just happens!

Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! There is nothing too difficult or too wonderful for You.

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?”
